The new location is nice. Too bad the staff can’t get off of their phones. Looked at shoes for 10 minutes while the kid never looked up from his phone to offer any assistance.

I was charged the full price for the item that was listed for flash sale on SportChek website, their system is not updated automatically, you are supposed to present a proof of the sale; I didn't check my receipt (yes, I know I always should, but who knew? the store appears trustworthy); came next morning to rectify the error and was treated like a scam artist; I have got my refund eventually but not even a word of apology, like here is your money now g.t.f.o. out of here. The lady in charge has no patience to deal with customer issues, got negative and in denial from the start, she shouldn't be allowed outside of her office space; this attitude is damaging the image of the entire business chain.

It's a nice store. It has a boutique feel to it. Got lots of product in terms of footwear which I was looking for that time the price was perfect and I know the quality is there. The staff were polite and direct so my shopping experience was quick. I recommend all my friends to go to the Check

Impressive.. have a good collection of top brands and as usual, brands are way too costly.

Beautiful new store. Brighter than the previous location. Unfortunately they still make you beg to try on shoes. Unless you happen to be a men's size 8 in the one style on the floor, out of the 20 styles on the wall. I passed through on three occasions. First time, no one in that section to assist, 2nd time there was one unenthusiastic individual who was busy. 3rd time, when enthusiasm went on break, and I was out of time, 3 people suddenly in the area to assist. It wasn't meant to be today.

I thought it was hilarious reading the other reviews because now I know it’s not just me. - staff are always on their phones or in large groups just socializing. Then “if” you get help from someone they never know anything about anything - they never have what we want in stock . Ever. - no good sales , all sales are online. No point in even going here -it’s just an uncomfortable awkward store. The one in the south end of Sudbury’s much better. Everyone I talk to agrees.

I admit I've never been to a Sport Chek before, so I'm really not sure what the standard of service is. I went last week for a couple pairs of shoes, which I only realized after that they were overpriced compared to other stores (that's on me). But I digress. I went in pretty early in the day, there was lots of staff around and few customers, the staff seemed pretty annoyed that I had the audacity to exist in the shoe section. And then I asked for help to get specific sizes to try shoes on (I thought this was how people shopped for shoes maybe I'm wrong) The woman I bothered seemed annoyed, telling me "those shoes are already on the shelf"... I looked, my size wasn't there, thus I asked for help. My mistake. I needed a couple pairs of shoes, but every time I asked for a different brand or size, I was handed the box and the woman just walked away. It takes like, 10 seconds to try on a shoe. But zero patience, off she went. I was not demanding or rude, just asked for the size and color, but she brought me the wrong size/color a couple times and waltzed away as soon as the box was in my hand, and then I had to go follow her to ask for the right ones that I asked for. Anyway, it was pretty awkward having such cold service, I don't know if this is standard practice but I definitely won't be going back there. This experience is exactly why people shop online. The girl at the cash was pleasant and friendly though! A little bit of a wait at the cash, despite staff around looking at the line, but that was the least on my worries. The only reason I was in a hurry was to get away from the miserable staff in the shoe section.
