β β β β β Completed my PPL here a while ago and absolutely enjoyed the experience! I started training in the US and before long had to move to the UK. Multiple instructors worked outside of their normal hours to help me push through. Carson, Kasia, Vivian & Dennis were all committed in every possible way (teaching, getting me ready for & scheduling flight tests, all the paperwork for converting my US hours & getting the license booklet) and more than ethical when it comes to charging ground hours, if not undercharging! I wouldn't have completed it without any of their help, and all the staff I have worked with are incredibly friendly people. The planes are well equipped & maintained too. Glad I chose Spectrum after checking all the flight schools in GTA (and way better training experience than in the US).

β β β β β Was gifted a Discovery flight as a birthday present. What a great gift. Timic was great at explaining the pre-flight and in-flight processes, and taking the controls for a bit was very cool!
Spectrum Airways was very good to deal with!

β β β β β Worst scheduling experience that I ever had !
Called them ten times before booking the flight to ensure that suitable spot is available and once they confirmed a suitable slot, I told them on call that I am booking it right away, after they gave me a green light on phone I instantly purchased that on website right after hanging up the call and instantly called them back after payment confirmation and they told me that slot is not available and they were confused to confirm me earlier and they can just refund or put me on some other day !
Donβt want to mention staff name but was a horrible and too confused scheduling experience !
Not to mention the hassle and FX charges it would take me to get the refund amount since I used an international card !

β β β β β Very professional flight school. Was able to do my PPL here in less than 6 months. Instructors are hard working and very committed to helping you pass. Quality of instruction is top notch. You also save a lot of money, the flight school has great rates coupled with the fact that the airport is uncontrolled saves you a TON of money.

β β β β β I got my husband a discovery flight as a birthday gift, and he had an amazing experience! If you want to wow someone with an amazing gift, I would highly recommend. Everyone that works here is so friendly and professional and makes the experience smooth and seamless. They even let us take photos before he got on the plane which made for a great keepsake!

β β β β β Yesterday I had my 1 hour discovery flight with my instructor Jack Harrington. Iβm impressed with the level of professionalism and his dedication. Jack took his time in patiently explaining the pre-flight procedures, answered all my questions and gave clear comments and instructions. Very positive experience overall.
