Special Event Rentals made wedding planning so dang easy. They have an amazing selection of decor (better than anyone else in the city), and are so helpful with their in-person consults to help you plan out your dream setting. We rented their gorgeous harvest tables, vineyard chairs, wooden light poles, and string lights. They offer delivery + pickup in the Regina area, which was worth every penny. No worrying about getting a truck or trailer to haul it all in and out! Will definitely recommend to every couple planning their wedding here in SK!

Special event rentals has been amazing from start to finish. We rented from them and availed their setup and take down service as well and they ensured that everything was exactly to how we wanted it. Communication was always smooth and Jaclyn was a breeze to talk with. They made all the hectic covid-wedding planning a lot less stressful by taking a huge load of the labour off of our shoulders. They are quick to respond and are always ready to accommodate any changes. Will always recommend SER to anyone looking for rentals!

The experience we had with Special Events in Regina started out as a good one. Jaclyn was great to work with. Our wedding date was October 2nd 2021 As our wedding got closer, new restrictions came out regarding covid so we made some changes to our venue...changes being going from a hall to a 20x40 tent. Tent was much smaller than the hall that we had booked originally. We called them as soon as we made the change because we wouldn't need some of the dΓ©cor that we had first booked to rent. Many points that lead me to believe that this is not a credible business: 1: Called us 2 days before they were to come and decorate saying they needed to be there the next day. I rearranged my plans letting them know that they had to be there before 3PM...they were not. 2: Charged us for take down of decorations, but they did not take anything down, we had everything packed away in the containers they left us. 3: Charged us $350 for set up and take down-this was the price quoted for the hall-no price reduction for decorating the tent that was much smaller. Their set up was 3 strands of lights and a backdrop. 4: Ordered a round table for our cake, they brought a rectangle table-they did take the rectangle table, brought the round one but didn't provide the correct linens as ordered to cover the table-had a rectangle tablecloth instead of a round one 5: Had a half round table for our head table, they didn't send the correct linens to cover this part of our head table, but insisted they did. 6: Charged our credit card for the total amount on October 1st-BEFORE we were even married and BEFORE receiving an invoice to go through to make sure it was correct. 7: Invoice was not received until Oct 18th, and this is when I noticed a number of things we were charged for but didn't receive. When I tried to reach out to them, I received no response for 9 days when I then talked to the owner. He offered $125 back in an instore credit, 25 of which was my own money because they charged me for lights they didn't use or leave for us. 8: Asked the owner to see my signed contract and he told me it would cost a $450 admin fee. I have no signed contract with them, the only thing they were given permission to charge our credit card for was the deposit when we initially booked them Never have I paid a deposit anywhere and not paid the final amount without an invoice first. Owner had a take it or leave it attitude with the $125 back-which was in the form of store credit...I will not use this or recommend this business too family or friends, it is nowhere written in the contract that they only give store credit not your actual money back.

Special Event Rentals worked with me to provide sleek, plexi bars and cocktail tables for our hotel, The Atlas Hotel, grand opening event. Megan and the crew were great to deal with. Megan was friendly, and helpful. She helped break down our vision for the event. Had no issues with the drop off/pick up crew, they were accommodating and had great communication. Looking forward to the next time I work with you all!

We had a great experience planning our wedding rentals with Special Event Rentals - Regina! Jaclyn was AMAZING. She was kind, accommodating and very responsive. She was also sympathetic to the chaos that is planning a wedding in a pandemic and I appreciated it so much. All of our rentals showed up and were set up perfectly. The tent was spotless and everything looked so beautiful together. Definitely would highly recommend these guys if you are in the market for any type of rental!

We worked with special event rentals to plan our NYE wedding. We do not live in Regina, but most of our family and friends are there. Planning a wedding during a different city could have been stressful. Not with Special Events Regina. We worked with McKayla and could not have been more pleased. We didn't have a wedding planner or coordinator and McKayla provided ideas, made updates, and recommendations for how to best make the venue look amazing. The piece that I absolutely appreciated the most was that everything was perfect the day of. SER set up everything (would highly recommend paying for setup and take down from them vs. doing it yourself if it's in your budget). For other elements of the day, I had to coordinate with different groups to make sure everything was on schedule or would be ready to go and make sure nothing was missed. With SER, there was no worrying or extra stress because everything was set up and organized exactly to plan. This was honestly the least stressful part of the wedding day and I cannot be more happy. Go with SER for your wedding or event!

Completed all my wedding rental through them. They were a delight to deal with and were able to help my artistically challenged self put together the most beautiful wedding. Drew up plans. Delivered directly to the venue! Huge shout of you Mikayla, she was a delight.

Can't say enough great things about Special Event Rentals. My husband and I celebrated our wedding in Regina and used their services for our rentals (chairs, tables, table cloths, etc). Everything went very smoothly, they were very helpful, organized, and easy to communicate with. Thank you once again for helping us make our big day so special to us!
