Have been waiting over just under 4 months for a refund - which has yet to be issued. I have followed up routinely and there is always an excuse why it is not done.
The latest inquiry on the refund has yet to be replied to, with no options to escalate being provided despite numerous requests.

β β β β β I have been enrolled in the online program for one semester after switching from Mount Royal University which was also online. I can truly say SAIT has been a huge disappointment, the lack of structure and communication throughout the program was shocking. No group work or teaching really just given a textbook and assignments, I learned more from google and chegg over the semester than the three profs I was paying to teach me. I will never take another class with SAIT and would highly recommend literally any other school besides here.

β β β β β Abysmal school. Twice now I've been placed into online only classes despite explicitly making sure to register for the mixed or in-person courses. No communication on anything ever until you go there in person and demand to know what is happening, The dorms don't have an oven of any sorts and will attempt to charge you for a whole month even if you leave within the first week of classes. Never go to this school, paying some guy on reddit to teach you would be a better use of money.

β β β β β My family came to the open house on Saturday. It was delightful. Campus is beautiful and we are so excited for our son to attend in September. The setup was well done. Would have been nice to buy some SAIT clothing to show our family pride but they werenβt open. All in all. Well done

β β β β β I am extremely frustrated as the instructor for the Accounting 375 course is not helpful, not in the slightest. Not that I had any choice of picking any other instructor to teach this class. The reviews on rate my prof will speak for its self. I am not alone, yet SAIT chooses to do nothing about the poor class structure or the instructor that neglects to do her job. My issue with this course is the simple fact that there is no explanation for anything. The course scheduled has been updated at least 2 times in the past 3 days. No one knows what is going on, my questions have not been answered and the instructor does not respond to any of my class mates. Other (all) students, have been complaining about this instructor yet nothing has been done. Nothing will ever be done. I have had issues with this instructor in the past not responding to me. This time, it is not different. This is so disappointing and disheartening . Please make your instructors do their job. Instead of letting them set all of us students up for failure. This course is also 45+40% exams and tests and half of which are self study modules. That's right, we all pay close to a grand and have to teach CPA level tax concepts to ourselves. Why is the most difficult teacher teaching the most difficult class?

β β β β β It was wonderful to be back able to attend an event at the Jubilee again. Saw the Calagry Opera production of the Merry Widow. Itβs was a great show, I just missed being able to purchase beverages between acts.
