E	Ed Foster on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Swing Dancing Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm. Great social dancing and beginner lesson at the start. Really great venue with high wood beam ceilings, open design and very clean.

G	Glenn Wood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little community center. For one event the air conditioning didn't work and the fans were so noisy we couldn't hear the speaker. For another event they fixed the air con and it was super cold. Apart from the temperature this place is great.

Attended a friends wedding here and it was awesome! Their is also a non-profit rate for community groups to use the rooms. All around, a great edition to Osprey Village and Pitt Meadows.
S	S H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful venue, the design and architecture of the building are really nice and aesthetically well thought out and beautifully built. However, it was difficult to enjoy it all as you nearly pass out on a summer day being that there is no air conditioning or proper ventilation in the building. I just experienced a wedding there and it was stifling hot and incredible noisy due to the placement of 5 or more giant floor fans that were the "Eco-friendly alternative to A/C." I'm sure the electrical draw from 5+ giant floor fans is very Eco-friendly indeed. It was really concerning that it was so hot in there and there were seniors having a difficult time, having to leave early. There are more efficient and Eco-friendly ways to cool a building than traditional a/c or an armada of fans, that maybe the engineers should look into. At 10 pm the building has a bylaw to remove people from the decks and close all the windows and doors (for sound purposes which are completely reasonable), but ultimately to cook us alive inside. Great venue with a beautiful layout and design, some amenities missing and some important details poorly executed. Overall, it would be appropriate for the staff to be upfront with people booking the venue that there is no air conditioning, and not hide it in other languaging to avoid confusion and discomfort on the day of an event.
S	Stina Yano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Husband and I got Married at South Bonson Community Centre on June 2nd. What a beautiful venue! It was a sunny day so we were able to use the dock on the river for the Ceremony. The Reception Hall is gorgeous and would suit any type of decor. It is very spacious and bright, and has a built in sound system and projector. The staff are very friendly and attentive and answered by emails promptly. We were able to view the venue as much as needed when it was not in use. There is no air conditioning, but they provided large industrial fans which helped a lot when it came time for dancing! I highly recommend South Bonson Community Centre!
