Sound Connections Literacy and Language Centre - Red Deer
The Sound Connections Programs were edited by Richard Rogers, an educator with over 25 years experience who specializes in learning disability.
In 2009, School District No. 5 was awarded a substantial BC Provincial Government grant to make Sound Connections available in every elementary school kindergarten class within the district. Impressive data has also been submitted to the Network of Performance Based Schools since 2004.
Sound Connections finally made its way to Alberta. Its first independent Centre is located in Calgary and has been open since February of 2010. It continues to expand and the second centre is now open in Red Deer.

He has a learning disability with his reading and processing, and the program they have set up for my son weekly has sure helped him at school as well. We have seen a great improvement in his learning since he started in July 2021. Bonus: My son loves going to Sound Connections! No fight to go! We will continue to send my son here for as long as it is needed.
