I even took my grandmothers wedding dress in, and she made a new cocktail dress out of it for me. It turned out beautifully! I’d highly recommend her services.

The quality of the work is phenomenal and I'm 1000% satisfied with everything. Would absolutely recommend Sorensen's to anyone seeking quality tailoring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a terrible experience here. My 17-year old daughter took in her prom dress for some alterations, not knowing how much it might cost. She was told it would be "expensive" -- which means nothing to a young woman with no experience with this sort of thing. The tailor pinned and marked the dress before ever telling my daughter how much it would be, and when she did, my daughter felt like she couldn't say no at that point. How much, you ask? $475 for alterations to a single dress.
We cancelled the work and went in to pick up the dress. The tailor seemed not to understand -- or wouldn't admit -- that it was wrong to allow a minor to contract for nearly $500 worth of work without even checking in with her parents. I found the tailor rude and uncooperative, and her behaviour with my daughter predatory. Maybe she's used to people coming in where cost is no object, and it's even possible we would have paid something like that amount for the alterations, but we really felt that she took advantage of my daughter and manipulated the situation.
