I booked a mini session with her but my new born was crying at the beginning and needed feeding and comforting so the session ended with 2 hours. In the flurry of preparing for the arrival or our first child, Sophie gave us the opportunity to reconnect with each other. It felt very natural, wandering around one of our favorite spots in Victoria, with Sophie capturing the magic of the evening. She has a talent for gently guiding and encouraging couples to embrace the moment and made us feel like rock stars! We followed with a newborn session a month later. Sophie’s studio is serene and cozy, offering choices of beautiful hand-crafted props for your session and patience when baby was hungry or needed a fresh diaper. The whole experience was unexpectedly relaxing and very efficient. Her studio is well set up for babies and we really liked all the natural fibers she had to pick from for props!

D	Dee-Dee DanceFlow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know a lot of photographers do outdoor shoots, but I wasn't sure if I'd be comfortable/cold, or flexible to change dates with the weather at 35 weeks pregnant during the winter, so I searched for someone with an indoor studio and came across Sophie. I had an amazing experience during my maternity shoot and newborn/family shoot! Sophie was super nice, professional, and had a very comfortable studio...Not only did she have tons of outfits for me to choose from and different backgrounds, she was so great at directing how to pose, where to look... which I thought was the best part of working with her! I was also very impressed with her setup for our newborn/family shoot - it felt like we entered a womb with the warmth and white noise! Sophie was amazing at making our baby, and myself and husband, feel super comfortable (she even allocating time and space for feeding and changing). Our photos turned out great! Really happy I went with both maternity & newborn/family shoots :)

Before the photo shooting, I was afraid it might be hard to pose my baby , because he just doesn’t go to sleep that easily in the day time . However, Sophie is a pro not only when it comes to photography, she soothes my baby and changes different sceneries and swaddles baby to take variety of photos, put baby into sleep by using her calm and love from one scene to another. Both me and my partner were so impressed . Sophie is super patient , loving and professional. The studio is very calming, warm and welcoming. We couldn’t wait to have another photo session when Sophie again . Thank you so much !
