About Soneto
Doug Sadler holds an MA TTESOL from Providence University College in Manitoba as well as a Masters of Christian studies from Regent College in Vancouver. He holds a Standard Level Three (Permanent) certificate from TESL Canada, which is their highest level of certificate. He is former Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics at Briercrest College and has taught English at the university level for many years. He has trained ESL teachers on every continent but Australia over the past 15 years, has written ESL curriculum for university courses, and has been a featured speaker and workshop leader at TESOL conferences in Manitoba several times. He is currently an instructor in English for Academic Purposes at the University of Manitoba. He lives in Winnipeg with his wife Carolin, and has 5 grandchildren.
