Welcome to Solstice Photography, I’m Lindsey!
I’m excited to tell you my story, but overall I just feel lucky enough to have the opportunity to pick up a camera! My life is filled with many adventures and I’m very fortunate for everyone who has allowed me to capture their memories through my lens.
Since 2017 I had a desire to buy a camera but I was in the middle of my University degree, drowning in papers/assignments and working my part-time retail job (I’ll admit— I’m still in Winners & HomeSense the same amount as when I worked there.) Now I’m graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and I am finally at a point in my life where I want to pursue my photography hobby as a full-time business! I’ve always had a keen interest in business and entrepreneurship (be your own boss, right?) and have always been an outgoing individual who loves to go against the grain. I’ve created my style and branding which is in line with my personality: relaxed, creative & free spirited.
When you don’t find me with a camera in hand, my other favourite things are taking my dog Linus for a hike on one of Thunder Bay’s amazing nature trails, watching Vampire Diaries over and over again, reading a book (romantic novel & fantasy enthusiast here) & snacking on my favourite treats. Also, on the topic of dogs: every furry friend is welcome at photoshoots, I’ll supply the treats!
