Hello Dance Families! We are getting excited for Fall 2021 Registration.We have chosen not to open up our dance doors until October this year just to ensure the safety of everyone here at SoleBeats as well as their loved ones at home. We are taking this time to do a very deep clean and get our dance home ready for this year's set of dancers. SoleBeats classes begin October 4th, 2021. This just means our end of class date will be moved a couple weeks to the end of June instead of the beginning. We have our online registration up and running, payment must be made to save your dancer's place. If you would like to register, and the online setup isn't working for you please feel free to email. In house registrations will take place Monday September 27th, Tuesday September 28th and September 29th from 4:00pm - 6:00 pm, at the studio. ALL THE REGISTRATION INFORMATION IS HERE. Our Boutique is currently open Wednesday, Thursday from 9:00am-4:00pm and Friday, Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm. Masks are mandatory in our building. We will be checking vaccine passports, only allowing two parents into the lobby at a time to keep our distancing precautions in place. There will be information pamphlets set outside for any waiting parents, so that you can feel prepared with your questions when you come in. SoleBeats staff will be taking 15 minutes periodically throughout our work day to sanitize as well as our existing cleaning procedures. For our dancers, we have precautions set out like wearing our masks, hand washing, disinfecting, and 6 foot bubbles set out in the studio, as well as our new class size limits in place. SAFETY PROTOCOLMasks are mandatory in the studios and all common areas of SoleBeats as of August 25, 2021. Contact tracing - We will ask everyone for a phone number as they sign in. Hand sanitizer - Please use the dispensers placed throughout the building. Physical distancing - Common Areas: Decals are situated throughout the building to guide in keeping a 2 metre physical distance. Studios: We recommend that a 2.5 metre distance be kept between participants not in the same bubble, minimize or preferably avoid touching, and no more than 2 dancers per barre, one on either end. Please be mindful of others and give them space, as we all adjust after a long period of distancing. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO SOLEBEATS IF In the past 14 days, you have had any symptom of COVID-19, including but not limited to: fever or chills, cough, loss of sense of smell or taste, difficulty breathing, sore throat, loss of appetite, extreme fatigue or tiredness, headache, body aches, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea. You or anyone you live with has tested positive for COVID-19, and you have not yet been cleared to discontinue isolation. In the past 14 days, you have had close contact with a person who had any symptoms of, or tested positive for, COVID-19, and you have not yet been cleared to discontinue isolation. SoleBeats Dance Studio is in Fernie, British Columbia. Cat Javier and Ashley Schram teach ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, musical theatre, and jazz dance to adults, and children of all ages. SoleBeats also hosts workshops with talented artists from many places.
