★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had nothing but a positive experience with this company and would highly recommend them. They recently created our Mascot for The Orlando Cat Cafe (Jean Luc) and he arrived today (a day earlier than was promised) in purr-fect condition. This is actually the 2nd time I worked with Lorne and Barb — the first time was 15 years ago when they created a plush for my other company and the experience at that time was great which is why I went back to them. They have been in business a long time and really know their “stuff” (pun intended). This time around they guided me throughout the design and revision process and I am delighted with the finished result. They even went out of their way to hand deliver the prototype when they were at The Amusement Show in Orlando in November. They are passionate about their business and it shows. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a creator and would like to make a plush, this is not a good company to work with. I emailed a lot of questions in advance, to make sure revisions would be possible. I signed a contract that gave no limit on revisions. Not that I wanted to make a lot of revisions, I just wanted a product I would be happy with. And then they fired the person I was working with, and refused to make edits or honor their contract. When I asked for a refund, they threatened me with a lawyer, stating that they sent me a prototype (that I was unhappy with and called them on the phone and told them not to send) so their part of the contract was complete. They offered me a refund in writing and then refused and threatened the lawyer. They have said over the phone that they don't like to work with creators because we are too picky. When I've complained they've told me to "be reasonable" which is special when I am the customer and I am hiring THEM and not the other way around. The whole situation is ridiculous, other creators, please avoid. Go directly to alibaba and start talking to manufacturers, this middle man is not the answer.
Edit: I know it looks like they've responded politely to me here, but please know that this is not the case in private email. I also never received three revised samples, and I never agreed to a limit of three edits. I was offered a refund, I requested the refund after the three edit limit was forced, and was refused a refund.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soft Stuff is incredible to work with, and I high recommend them. They are great at communicating the project's budget, timeline and challenges, and really go above and beyond to make sure that the final product is what you're looking for. I've gotten two different plushes made through them, and both were really challenging designs - multiple embroidered sides, lots of details, needed custom injection molding etc. They both turned out wonderfully! I couldn't be happier with the final products.
