Just bought a new washer today, great deals. Leave a donation of clothing or household accessories, instead of ditching them outside on the sidewalk.

This is a social enterprise/community organization that sells second hand items on the first floor. If you like antiques or refinishing old furniture, give this place a try; sometimes you can find real gems for great prices.

I love going to Saint Vincent especially on first Monday of the month where everything is 50% OFF. Who's store does that? Only Saint Vincent.A good place to buy furnitures, clothing and home decorations. Thanks for making us afford what we want.

Calls me last minute to say they can't deliver and reschedule the following day. As if we can always be available because their delivery guy didn't show up. And has the nerve to tell me if I don't like it, to come pick up my stuff and they will reimburse me. Last time I'm ever buying something from them. Sure Jesus Christ doesn't approve their message.

Second hand items AND service too ! :( I just left this place, no matter how hard I tried to speak French (which is not great but more than functional) I was a waste of time to them. I was trying to buy furniture for 5 students in a new apartment, I needed about 20 large pieces of furniture (5beds 5desks armoires couches etc) and list of other minor things. I didn't get past asking about beds or desks. Would have been about $1500-2000 dollars of sales for them in 20-30 minutes ... treated me like a waste of time :( Any questions I had resulted in "what you see is what is here" and as pointed at things from her desk. :( The furniture is over priced by far... a very used 9$(new) Ikea "Lack" table selling for 20$, really ?!? Old wobbly kitchen table with stained chairs 300$ That's insane and customer services is horrible and made worse with language or customer service practices. Lots of stuff sold two or three times the prices of Salvation Army and Renaissance and the thse places will treat you respectfully as a customer. I was really hoping to buy used stuff from a small local Montreal shop that extends aid to the community and this is a really disappointing experience.

Great little thrift store. Selection is small but still decent. It's a little pricy though, compared to other thrift stores. Many items are sold two or three times the prices of Salvation Army and Renaissance. Hours are also very limited, closing at 4 on weekdays. UPDATE August 2019: prices are ridiculously high nowadays. PS3 games for $12, old pins for $6, VHS tapes for $2. This place is supposed to help the poor people yet the employees price everything at very high prices! Absolutely the worst thrift store around!

Unfortunately I have to say BEWARE of this store. They do not act in a very "Christian" manner. They used to take such care with the appliances they sold, and I felt like I could trust them. Everything was in excellent working order, and they were so helpful. I went back last year to replace my old stove which I'd also bought from them years ago, and their prices had really gone up on everything. I still felt like this was the best place to get a used appliance since they are run by the Catholic Church. They would not intentionally be dishonest, right? Well, unfortunately that seems to be wrong. An element shorted on the stove when it was supposed to be guaranteed, and they would not send someone to repair it. It is impossible to reach them by phone because no one replies, but I finally went back to the store, and a woman said they would send a repair person and that he would call me. No one ever called me. I left multiple messages on the machine, but no one ever replied. They did not honour the warrantee and took my money for a broken appliance without even trying to make it right. Watch out for this store. They are dishonest and untrustworthy people who do not keep their word to you in the even that anything goes wrong.

Furniture are ridiculously expensive. Floor stuff treat everybody like a potential thief. Probably they think, `only poor people shop here, so since they are poor, they would steal` First of all, if they were to steal, probably they would not remain poor eh? Usually the best of the thieves are the richest among us. Second of all, why would someone steal a $3-4 thing? If someone is attempting to do that probably he or she is really desperate can`t spare even 3 bucks for something he or she needs, then let them be. In the end this is a charity organizations to fight poverty and social exclusion. Try to treat people respectfully. If you don`t, that means you do not know anything about poverty which you claim to fight against. Good luck.
