★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The person who cut my hair was nice but it seemed to be her first day, she was uncertain on what to do and had another hair dresser do the majority of the work. They never washed my hair which felt like a waste to be included on the bill. Had some funky longs hairs sicking out of the beard still, a bit disappointing for a 35$ haircut. Probably a lot better with women and children, unfortunately barber's aren't open Sunday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got my hair cut before a Christmas party. Asked for a trim, layers to be cleaned up and to be thinned out. Got my hair trimmed and then curled with a brush and hair dryer. Cost me nearly $55. The next day I wash my hair and it looks like a 5 year old cut it. Will have to spend another $50 to just have it fixed and maybe get what I asked for. I wish I had of complained while there but a language barrier prevented that. Will not go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marie-Perle did my haircut. She was very informative and well skilled. She gave me the exact style I was aiming for and some advice for the future. Marie-Perle was also super kind and friendly. It was a good experience at SmartStyle with her. I will definitely come back to her specifically over and over again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the salon is working very quickly and trying to do as many sales as possible so that they can reach certain bonuses. they will work as a team but sometimes someone else will be mixing a color for another client and they will damage your hair severely because they will put the wrong color and then compliment you like crazy trying to make you believe that the hair color is amazing when it's not. your hair can be purple and brown and they will say oh it looks amazing looks so beautiful to make you believe. be very careful with them it's all about Commission and reaching their bonuses. do not go on a Saturday it is way too rushed.
