β β β β β Steve was exceptional, very knowledgeable and professional. I had the pleasure of having Steve come over to our house to exterminate a wasp infestation on our ceiling. He was able to get rid of the wasp hive and patched up our ceiling right after.
He was able to locate the source of the wasp entrance on the outside and closed it off. He also made recommendations of the possible exterior entrances that the wasp might use in the future and we had him patch those off too. He's a man of many traits and very handy. The price were reasonable and I would recommend him to anyone who's looking to do some pest control or any renovation.

β β β β β I had Steve and his crew rehab and install a new foundation wall for a storage space in a 1926 house. He did a great job but the thing that stood out was his professionalism above and beyond all other contractors I have used. He looked at ways of saving cost while keeping the bar high.

β β β β β SLC Contracting does fantastic, cost-effective work. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
I had SLC design and execute a re-do of my front yard walkway which required extensive concrete removal and which was replaced with a much wider paver stone walkway and corresponding retaining walls. There was also some landscaping involved to finish the project off.
First, SLC's work was excellent. In addition to looking great, it was all done to code. Second, throughout the project SLC was professional and courteous: they thoughtfully provided and received ideas along the way, kept me informed of developments, and were always cost-conscious. Finally, they did their absolute best to stick to the project schedule and be as minimally invasive as possible.
SLC is an absolute pleasure to work with and do top-notch work. I would encourage anyone in the lower mainland who has any general contracting needs to reach out to them for a discussion and quote.

β β β β β I hired Steve at SLC to revitalize my yard in Vancouver. We had a small retaining wall, pavers and other general landscaping completed. They did an excellent job and provided the best value we could find. If you want something done right, working with a honest contractor, SLC is the easy choice.

β β β β β My husband and I were looking for a contracting company to update our 40-year-old house. After some consideration SLC Contracting was referred to us by a good friend that also used this company to do many of their home renovations. After discussing our budget, Steve provided us with a timeline and an itemized list detailing the cost of materials and labour. We agreed on a total renovation that included a complete remodelling of three bathrooms and a kitchen.
SLC Contracting consistently met their deadlines for demolition and construction. At each stage we were provided with updates of the ongoing work. Communication was by far the best Iβve ever received and time for response was impeccable. I would highly recommend this growing business.

We hired Steve to renovate our leaking shower in our master bathroom. He was so friendly, so professional and so great to work with. He listened carefully, went out of his way to find the perfect shower door for us and did top quality work. He always took the time to answer my questions and explain everything that he was doing. He left the site very clean every evening, arrived as expected, communicated his plans clearly and had an incredible work ethic. We are very pleased with our new bathroom. We definitely recommend SLC Contracting and would use his company again for sure.
