★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This business is run by an older man who seems to be losing his grip on things. He gave me a quote for a couch and chair and I gave him a $1500 deposit for the fabric. Weeks later when I arrived with the furniture, he said the couch was too heavy, and wanted to charge me $500 more. I said he never asked me about the weight, and he got angry and started shouting about his health. I told him I didn’t want to pay more money beyond the quote, and he threw the (paid for) fabric on the floor and told me I could get out. I had to pay the movers to take my furniture back home. Fortunately the next place I called quoted me a price that was $500 cheaper than this guy (or $1000 cheaper if you include the attempted extortion money), and they were professional and did a great job. So I ended up saving money. But this guy at Skylark is to be avoided.
