★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is beautiful, great rooms and it’s cool how they’re all a different theme. Really accommodating and helpful.
Be warned the area around the hotel is a little sketchy though. It’s not the worst part of East Van, but it’s on the edge of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very thoughtful staff. We arrived quite early and were allowed to check in immediately and even have the breakfast. Then due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cut our stay short and despite the booking being non-refundable, they refunded a part regardless. I really appreciate the service and whenever we're back in Vancouver, we'll definitely stay here. The room was wonderful too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon arrival, we were so warmly welcomed by Rick, who personally walked us to our individually reserved parking spot in the hotel parking garage. He also gave a helpful tour of the property and oriented us to the security measures.
We found our room to be clean (Thank you Amy and May) and we really enjoyed the unique art and decor. The breakfast and coffee in the Welcome room was appreciated, and we were able to do some gift-shopping and meet kind Nobu at the front desk before heading out.
As some have mentioned, this is near the border of a gritty party of the city, but it is also very close to very nice parts of town. The building and parking were very secure, and we felt safe walking the couple of blocks to the Skytrain, so this would be a great location if you were going to the stadium, a show, or the waterfront.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at Skwachàys do such a great job, honestly! They're incredible helpful and actively seek out opportunities to help; from offering suggestions on how to get around on the weekend, helping price accommodation in another town, or helping us catch a last minute taxi to the ferry!
Thanks to the whole Skwachàys team for making the experience of arriving in Canada so personable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entire feel of the lodge was really authentic. The rooms were clean and comfortable with Indigenous art decor - the staff was really kind and even though our stay was short, it was one of the highlights of our Vancouver trip! Will totally be staying here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is fine, clean and tidy. The immediate area around the hotel is OK, but there is a homeless problem between here and downtown gas town. We had no issues, we weren't hassled and didn't feel unsafe, but it is sad to see. Not much the hotel can do about this so I feel bad marking them down

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've had the loveliest stay in the Longhouse Room! Can't recommend enough. Kind and friendly staff, a beautiful gallery, and the rooms are incredible. We arrived after the check-in desk closed due to flights, and the security was so helpful getting us settled. Awesome location as well! Already looking forward to our next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Off the beaten path. The Lyft driver had no idea where the hotel was! Nice room. (not sure if it was air-conditioned?) Loved the decor. Lots of storage, microwave, mini-fridge, full size ironing board/iron. The complementary shower products smelled HEAVENLY!
Super friendly and helpful staff.
