★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This law firm is a joke. DO NOT USE THEM! The lawyer that was assigned to me had less knowledge than a high school student. They never returned calls or emails. If it wasn't for me doing my own investigation into things I wouldn't have been updated /known what was going on. Greedy, lazy, rude, useless. Just some words Id use for this lawyer. If I could give it a -0 I would, do NOT waste your time or money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paul worked on our Canadian immigration case. He took money for our case, and when the case was close to its conclusion, he was told that we would need to show additional proof of language competency (despite his advice that this was not necessary to begin with). When we agreed to complete the IELTS exam to show English competency, and explicitly told him, as our hired attorney, to ask for an extension until the exam date, he carelessly ignored the request and failed to do so. This was entirely negligent on his part, despite which he did not refund us (at least out of courtesy and admission of responsibility) some amount of the CAD 10,000 that we had paid him. This is after we had gone through the trouble of getting legal clearance to immigrate from four different countries. If you are looking for lawyers who can empathize with how difficult and critical this process is for those more vulnerable than them, please look elsewhere. This is advice from a single mother of two children who saved every penny for this process and was thoroughly let down so close to the finish line. Absolutely appalling behavior.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We cannot say enough about Chris Dilts. We have dealt with other lawyers on various matters and Chris is the only one that knew our case facts better than we did. He comes prepared and has a strong knowledge base to support us. He is patient and always listens to what we want. He answers all of our questions with a balanced view. In other words, when he thought the matter could be resolved without going to court (less legal fees) he guided us that way. However, when it finally did have to go to court he was 100% prepared, which we largely attribute to our win! Thank you Chris….

With the many lawyers at this firm it looks like we got a bad egg. It was a refferal, and after this frustrating incident it will be my last. What an extremely bad experience. I’m sure it has everything to do with the lawyer you have chosen. We only spoke to the lawyer for 1minute 30 seconds on the phone once. The case didn’t go anywhere however for 10 days of services rendered 3000 seemed higher than usual. Communication and overall customer service was not at all in line with the pricing. I would STRONGLY recommend in finding another firm with principles and conduct in line with a more client approach. All these positive reviews don't embody our overall experience. I can assure you as a local community based resident, I will always have a negative personal review towards Simpson and Wigle.
