★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dear mother was thrifty her whole life. When she passed recently, in her 93 rd year, her wishes were for a no-frills cremation without the cost and bother of a funeral service. I called around and this service beat everyone I called on price. I went ahead and went with them with a bit of trepidation, wondering what I would be getting or " not getting". Turns out its actually a side biz of Orillia's wonderful local funeral home, Carson Funeral Homes. I was able to sit down with Jon Griffiths while he professionally handled all the details. My nervousness of originally calling on Simcoe Cremation Services was gone very quickly and I felt like I was in very competant hands. Great job!
