An amazing getaway, only 1hr from the 401! Arrived at 8.30am, had our choice of spots. We set up my day tent under trees for shade. We were close to the path and the beach. What's there? Sandy beaches, shallow waters, boat launch, rocky peninsulas and camping on site. Very family and pet friendly! There is a park and beach section for pet owners! So bring the furry kids too!! They have a playground and covered picnic areas for rent. Washrooms were cleaned throughout the day. There is a Park Store you can buy a few hot items, ice cream and firewood! There even is a historical home museum on site too! Will definitely come back!! Loved it!!

The park is amazing. The beach is very clean and there is a space which have a lot of trees with shades for sunny days. You can prepare barbecue on the beach. Area for camp is very good so places can take two or three families in the same area. I attached photos showing the spaces. There is a shop inside the park which have all the needed stuff for camping in case if you missed to bring something and the prices are reasonable. The washrooms (comfort zones areas) need to increase because its few and need to be cleaned more frequently. That's the only reason the lost one star. The ground of the camp is so easy to install your tent and gazebo. Again the beach is amazing and there are a lot of activities you can do there.

Sibbald Point Provincial Park and Sibbald Point Beach is a hidden gem. It is am amazing place to visit if you love nature walk, beach and camping. The sand and water is very clean. The place was not too crowded so you can find good places to sit and enjoy. There is nature walk and museum at the place. Water is also not very deep so you can enjoy time with kids.

I have been here in both summer and late winter. Honestly I like the late winter better because it is less crowded. If you dress accordingly, you can very much enjoy. But I’m summer they have camp grounds open and place will be packed. If you enjoy that, i suggest going in summer. Overall the place is great. Will certainly suggest it.

Great park for camping. The campgrounds on the east side are generally a bit smaller compared to west side but provide good privacy and shade. Flush toilets and showers are also available on campgrounds but gets dirty when there's a lot of foot traffic. The day use area is quite big as well and has many picnic tables and a large beach which usually gets pretty crowded during the day specially on the weekends. The beach is very nice, sandy and shallow, good for young kids. Don't worry if you forgot to pack something, the park store has a variety of items available. You can also buy ice from the store to keep your food and beverages cold for a longer stay. Trail is good for a walk with young kids. Overall a very nice place to spend time with family in the outdoors.

One of the best Beaches area especially for families within 1:30 hours of drive from Toronto. Neat, clean and HUGE sandy beach. Getting there early will help big time to enjoy the park. Their walking trails are awesome. Lots of BBQ spots and picnic tables but these get filled up quick. Do bring beach umbrella and chairs to enjoy water side experience. Plenty of parking and clean washrooms add well to the experience.

We went to the park without having prior information on what the park has to offer but was pleasantly surprised. This is a beautiful spot for spending time with your family and loved ones year around. The park offers spectacular views of Lake Simcoe.

Nice campground & beach close to the city. - Very crowded - I do not recommend the East campground if you're looking for peace. -There did not seem to be anyone enforcing quiet hours, and it sounded like we were at a rave until 3 am. - The park should look into stopping the cars racing through the park at night as well
