Just simply beautiful place to be to bad summer is not year long case its hard to leave

Beautiful beach at this camping resort. Bathrooms are clean and new. Very big sites and loads of privacy.

My wife booked a site in March 2020 for our camping trip August 2020. She got us a great spot, big enough for the 30 foot trailer and in a good location for the kids to ride bikes, play at the playground and access the beach. On the morning of our drive out we texted to confirm our reservation and check in time. We were about an hour into our drive already and found out that our reservation had been changed to another site on a steep hill. Obviously not what was in the plan as we brought bikes for our two 9 year olds and 12 year old. We couldn't find anywhere else that had availability so we decided to take a look at the hill spot. Upon arrival we knew that it wasn't going to work out not only because its on a steep hill (kids) but also because I wasn't comfortable pulling my 30 foot trailer into the spot. The caretaker obviously felt really bad about the situation (which she should have) and tried to find us other accommodations. She led us to NO JOKE a gas station with gravel sites in behind. Thanks but no thanks, not the family vacation we imagined staying at a gas station. We felt really hopeless and gave another couple places a call. Our last attempt was calling COTTONWOOD COVE RESORT. They were helpful, and SUPER accommodating. They felt our pain and said just come over and we will figure it out together. I would give NO stars to Shuswap Lake RV and I would give 15 BIG GOLDEN STARS to COTTONWOOD COVE RESORT for not only their amazing hospitality but their huge grassy sites, clean bathrooms, location and amazing staff. They even have halloween in August for the kiddo's. So sorry shuswap lake rv but thanks for leading us to a WAY BETTER PLACE!

The owner Stephanie of lot number 134 was quick to book us in and take the $ but didnt notify the resort of the booking and didnt register our number for the gate access. When we called her to get assistance she was nowhere to be found and the caretakers had to rescue us from being locked out numerous times. So, the 1 star is for the caretakers on site, not for the owner of lot 134. Sorry resort, but this was not a smooth experience. And frankly, by not notifying the caretakers or board of our arrival that goes directly against the safety evac rules of you site.

A beautiful RV resort, with lots of natural forest, spacious, private lots and nice amenities. The pebble beach has an awesome dock and swimming platform, and no weeds to be seen. We'd stay here every day if we could.

Family always loves it here! Great swimming and beach. Are the people we meet are so nice.

The people we rented off were really nice. Not a place for kids. The park is terrible and I have a swing set in my yard that is better. If your up top the hills are too steep for bikes and kids will get bored quick. No parking for the beach and the hills to get down there are not reasonable for anyone with small kids. Zero privacy and most spots are tiny. More of a place for people to retire not somewhere to have a fun time at. The beach is nice though.
