I don't know if they are horrifically understaffed or if the processes are weird, but this is the slowest pharmacy I've ever used. I've been trying for nearly two years now. The phones seem unanswered or down a lot. Prescriptions take at least 24 hours, but unless you plead, it will be at least two days. Promised times are missed, so you still wait in the store another 30 minutes. Prescriptions get lost so the doctor has to resend them. An extended refill sent by a doctor wasn't filled as they promised on the phone because they disagreed on the amount, and I had to talk to a pharmacist before they'd consider filling it. I'm probably done, and I don't think they have capacity to take on new customers.
L	L K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pharmacist Manvir is very knowledgable and patient, and the student Nick is professional and did a covid test for me. The whole pharmacy team is friendly. I can tell they are under a lot of stress but have tried their best to serve patients. People in this community have to understand that the pharmacy is swarmed with so many prescriptions, covid tests and vaccine appointments every day, and just like many other businesses they are sometimes short-staffed because of covid. So the staff deserve to be treated better! I really appreciate their team's effort!

There is a clear fundamental problem - do not fill your prescriptions here. Gave my insurance info, filled 4 prescriptions without a single comment from the pharmacist that my insurance information was erroring out on their end and not applying properly. These were low cost prescriptions so I didn't notice, until I needed to fill a prescription that cost almost $500 only to be finally told of the error and that it has been there since I first started filling my prescriptions here. Was given the choice to pay directly and work it out with Manulife, or walk away without my necessary medication for a serious chronic illness. All the previous claims can no longer be applied, so I am out of pocket on all of it despite stellar health insurance because not a single person behind the counter had the decency to say "there was a problem"

Then 10 minutes later, one showed up but I couldn't buy them because she was dealing with a customer who had issues. This location is trying to drive customers away with atrocious service. The reply about customer service being a priority there is not true. They want to make things so bad, that you will do everything yourself. They removed a lot of checkout aisles and then replaced them with self-checkout stations. Next, they will complain when we just order things online at Amazon instead of going there but it is really their own fault.

Took them and gave them to the manager, his response "someone must have returned them and no one noticed the dates I'll go through them and check" 2 weeks later in there again and to my disgust the exact same food that we told the manager about was back on the shelf! Seriously?! Baby food! Knowingly selling EXPIRED baby food. Clearly this manager put the product back. Went through and found atleast 20 more packs expired some as old as 2020. He didn't go through the shelves to check. Absolutely disgusting that this place would rather sell expired products instead of just throwing them out. If you must shop there always check the dates because you'd be surprised what you'll find. As others have pointed out don't use their pharmacy it's a complete joke. There are many other options with better service close by. We've stop using the pharmacy because of multiple bad experiences. The pharmacist is arrogant and thinks he knows more than your family Dr. Nevermind the fact it takes hours to fill a simple prescription.
M	Mimi Straka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apr. 16, 2022: waited almost an hour for my COVIVD 4th dose booster, That's an hour AFTER my appointment time. The pharmacy area was a zoo: people everywhere, not wearing masks though instructions for vaccination specified this protocol. No place to wait, no lineup, little guidance from Pharmacy staff. The only good thing was that the actual vaccination took about a minute. Very unsatisfactory visit to this location!
J	Jonathan Tafler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The front shop is as good as any shoppers - great helpful staff, beautiful store layout, etc. But there’s something wrong in the pharmacy. We have literally filled dozens of prescriptions here for our family of 6 and not one has been ready when we’ve come for pickup. It doesn’t matter if it’s a refill requested by phone or the app, or a new prescription faxed from a doctor - not a one has ever been ready. The staff always appear run down, overwhelmed and confused. The last straw was over the weekend when I received the entirely wrong prescription (wrong drug!) and when I came back I was still told I needed to wait 20 minutes, and I was lucky it wasn’t 30. No accountability whatsoever for the mistake. That’s the last time I fill a prescription at this shoppers. The only way it seems this pharmacy will improve is if people stop going and they get some space to figure out how to fix their problems. Until then I suggest you take your business elsewhere as I will be doing. An embarrassment to the Shoppers Drug Mart brand unfortunately.
