Shoppers Drug Mart

Went in for a rapid test for covid-19. When I called originally for the appointment the individual at the pharmacy that booked my appointment simply asked for following information: my name (first and last), and my phone number. She did not ask for the reason I needed to get tested nor did she state the protocols and rules in which I was allowed to be rapid tested. Upon going into shoppers I had checked in, filled in the form and was all ready to go. I was then asked my reason for the test, which was not direct contact but someone I work with did experience cold-like symptoms recently. Just want to be safe. From then I was declined the rapid test with excuses just piling up on top of each other. The pharmacist, knowing it is her job to rapid test at a place that does the test did not feel comfortable doing the test, and also because I was not traveling and needed it for work. They did not apologize for wasting my day when I could have been getting a rapid test done somewhere else and sent me away with an address to a “rapid test Centre that is open”. The address they had sent me to was a pop up clinic that had closed one month ago. There is a reason I had switched pharmacies to Walmart years ago, and it is due to their absolutely poor and disgusting costumer service. The staff is absolutely clueless about protocols in place. The logical thing to think when going to a pharmacy staff member would be to hope they are educated in what they are saying because we are told to trust them growing up. Clearly it is very evident Shoppers does not train their pharmacy staff and it shows. If I could give this entire pharmacy zero stars I would, because they’re absolutely atrocious as a whole. Would never trust them with any of my family members or friends medications or even advice with over the counter meds for that matter.

I went here to do a rapid test and the lady was very professional. Super friendly and even took me in for testing early. I recommend this place for the tests very fast and great service.

If I could give lower than a one star I would. My grandparents went into this location to get their booster, the pharmacist turned them away and told them to book it online... Now let me remind you, they are in their 80's. So already shows you the kind of customer service they have. I have gone online and they are nowhere to be found on the booking system. When you try to call and believe me I have tried calling a countless amount of times, NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE.

I have waited too long!!!!!! I will not come back in this pharmacy location…..!!!! Lady said wait for 20 minutes…. 45 minutes still nothing? Very frustrated! What a bad experience!

I’ve been calling the pharmacy for 3 days now and still have yet to talk to someone. Been on hold for 30 min every time. Every time I used this pharmacy is a huge lengthy wait for a simple prepackaged prescription. Tired of this poor customer service, will be going else where.

The pharmacist sona is disrespectful and rude. I was completely nice the entire time, but she was honestly carrying herself like a child. Definitely deserves to get fired. Horrible employee.

The WORST customer service. I was wrongfully charged when I was supposed to be refunded and she told me it was my fault for going to the beauty counter instead of the regular cashier. Everyone isn’t competent of doing a refund? She then proceeded to tell me I should come in at a different time because no one is trained to look at previous receipts. It is an absolute inconvenience for me to come in yet another time to fix a mistake of one of the employees. This is ridiculous, no one is trained correctly! Please do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere.

Incompetent. They call/text you to tell you your prescription is ready then when you arrive they tell you to come back the next day or that somebody called and canceled the prescription. More like they they ran out and gave it to someone else who showed up and needed the same meds. At least call and let the customer know that they had to postpone the prescription and that they will notify when ready. This has happened to me at least 3 times in one year. They have no problem letting you stand in the pick up line for 30 minutes while the line up reaches the front doors. They just keep their head down pretend that the line is not there. I can understand a wait. But half an hour not serving a single customer with a line up of 10 + people. And they were not short staffed with a pharmacist and 5 technicians. All standing staring at their feet. Any suggestions for a good pharmacy?
