Booked a covid test and they don’t have the decency to call you back after 72 hours. What’s the point of offering them if you don’t even call people back?

Very bad service at the pharmacy. My medicine prescription. I drop - off the prescription on Friday around 3pm. Went for pickup on Saturday evening and the medicine was not ready. The clerk told me to wait for the pharmacist for about 10 minutes. After 20, I was told that she had to contact my doctor because the RX was confusing and that I had to wait 1 hour 30 minutes - ish. The 3 employees were chatting and ignoring the customers in line. When I complaint, the answer was, "we are trying to do our best". For me the best means: my medicine to be ready and not to contact the doctor 1 day later when his office is closed. Sad experience, since I transferred my file from one pharmacy to this one. I just hope that at certain point I can start my medication to get well.

Couldn't even get through to them. I tried calling a pharmacy an after hour they open and the call disconnected twice in a row without ever going on hold or giving me any kind of prompt.

I didn't realize that a pharmacy could be as terrible as this Shoppers is. I tried on two occasions to give them a card to cover the brand cost of my medication. They didn't get it so they charged me for the medication. I moved closer to another Shoppers and I requested to be transferred to that one and I was told oh no problem we can deliver. Its been nothing but grief ever since. Long story short they would not release my blister pack to me because of my balance. I cant make 70$ appear into thin air so I told them I will pay next week. That was not good enough for them. I had already been 3 days without my medication for diabetes & mental health issues. The supervisor was just shaking her head no at me and nobody would release my medication to me. I remained calm for somebody who hadn't taken medication in 3 days. Eventually they gave them to me because I was crying and I had no other option. Its very dangerous for me to be without. I showed them the drug card for future refills and the staff didn't bother take it and said oh by the way next week it will be another 35$ EXCUSE ME? I have the card here in your face and you STILL wont accept it. Definitely taking this to the higher ups & changing pharmacies!!!

The total inability of this location to answer your phone is disgraceful. This is a basic requirement to not waste the time of patients and other businesses. Get it sorted out. This is unacceptable.

I have been a customer to this location since 2017 and let me tell you this, ever since management has changed recently, Boy! Howdy! What a difference it has been! NOT GOOD! The new management must think that we are all idiots when all of a sudden, everything that is supposed to be on sale is either, missing all of the ON SALE tickets, has the sale items completely removed or moves the sale items somewhere where they are not usually found. They have hardly any staff left to speak of and the ones that are there are completely overwhelmed with having to run the store with broken equipment and a new upper management that appears to be intent on making every loyal customer LEAVE. SHAME ON YOU UPPER MANAGEMENT! Why the heck should I give a pooh about your broken machines?? As if it was an excuse for your INCOMPETENCE.

All the OTC medicines are always almost empty. Non medicine for kids (cough syrup), no Motrin just Tylenol. This is always since I moved here 4 weeks ago. Also other OTC medicine shelves can be appreciated empty for the lack of medicine supply.

Beyond Horrible This is the most convenient Pharmacy to come to for my wife and I. It's walking distance. Both of us require timely, life-sustaining medicine. It's been hit and miss at times, but we've been willing to be patient through the pandemic and because the people working the pharmacy have tried and have been apologetic and friendly. 4 months ago both my wife and I changed Insurance plans. The first time in, understandibly, it took some time to update the system. The second time in, the medications were at full price because they processed insurance through the old plans. After 10 to 15 minutes the recommendation to us was to pay full price and pursue the insurance company outselves. Understand. This was hundreds of dollars. They preferred to have us front hundreds of dollars instead of simply getting the information right in their system. I refused and they finally got it right, clearly upset with me that I was not cooperating with their plan for me to save them time and trouble. This happened 2 more times after that. I've never in my life experienced a more consistently, systemicly, incompetent pharmacy. Today I gave up. I've transfered all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. The people here are nice. Nice doesn't matter when simple processes can't be done. I don't know if it's computers. I don't know if it's training. I don't know if it's simply a pharmacy owner who clearly doesn't care. Whatever it is, it would be worth it to me to drive 100 km round trip to never visit this pharmacy again. Go somewhere else. Seriously.
