Shoppers Drug Mart

Called the manager to discuss an issue and was accused of being a different customer with a similar issue. Probably my friend and former colleague, because we both have a problem with the same darn product! the rca tv, which she un-boxed and warned me not to. I bought her's and mine in Kingston. Her's doesn't stand on the feet properly, they told her she couldn't return it because it was unboxed even though it was damaged. They also don't take items back that were purchased at different Shoppers locations, I've never had this issue with Walmart, Canadian Tire or Rexall. They provided the information but not without drilling me about her first, accusing me of being her, which is ridiculous, as I'm almost half her age! I just came to this area this week and I'm not impressed. I came to this location once before while I was in town looking for apartments. They acted strange then as well, I figured it was a fluke, the younger kids working the till were ok but the older staff seemed to act a bit strange. I think I"ll stick with Rexall in the future.

Purchased a TV that was a great price from the flyer. It stopped working within the week. Tried to exchange it for another and was told no. The receipt says see website for return exceptions, on the website if you click past "returns" Past "exchanges" past "return exclusions" to "return exclusions with exceptions" it says you may have to deal with the manufacturer in "some instances". Both the manager and Store owner who runs the Pharmacy were very friendly when we spoke but here I am I am back at home with my broken TV that lasted less than a week. The manager said "If you bought Asprin and it didn't make your headache go away you wouldn't expect us to return it would you?" The store is modern and clean but I don't recommend buying anything over $10 from there just in case.

Aggressive, obnoxious & unhelpful floor manager! Picture this: Hot August 9 mid afternoon. Thunderstorms looming. I go in to pick up a pre-ordered prescription (for heartburn). I pay the $4 for the prescription but there's a snag with the computer/ paperwork. Meanwhile there's a long line forming behind me. So I say, 'I don't mind waiting' But the folks just kept coming. Meanwhile, my dog was outside being tended by my 10 year old neighbor. This is a very busy traffic intersection; dangerous for them both. After more than 10 minutes I was uncomfortable leaving my young friend outside (I'm a senior, by the way). So I brought her and my very well behaved dog inside and sat in an out of the way corner of the otherwise unoccupied prescription lounge . Within 3 minutes a polite clerk came to tell me pet dogs aren't allowed. I politely replied ' As soon as I get the prescription I already paid for, I'll be gone but I'm not comfortable leaving this child outside with the dog any longer'. A few minutes later the obnoxious manager stomped over to try to bully me to leave. I politely repeated that I would leave as soon as I got my prescription. This manager tried to escalate tension by threatening to call the police and saying that the pharmacy had nothing to do with the store (since when did Shoppers divorce itself from its pharmacies?????). At no point did she offer any help ( to,like, maybe bring my prescription to me if I waited outside?) . Just intimidation and harassment. Very unpleasant for me and distressing for my young friend. Mrs. Obnoxious Manager actually took a photo of my young friend and the dog as my friend and dog sat quietly in the lounge while I waited at the prescription counter. I want to add that the pharmacy staff was excellent. The only nasty was the floor manager.

Unbelievably store management so bad no one care about the store washrooms are disgusting store as well

Terrible service. Very rude pharmacy employees. Multiple people waiting for prescriptions that werent ready while employees stood around chatting to each other and ignoring customers. Drugs werent available for extremely ill people and drs hadnt been informed that they didnt have them. Totally unacceptable behaviour!!!

Everyone here is so nice and knowledgeable. If you already fill your prescriptions here you know exactly what I mean!

This shoppers drug mart is amazing, especially the pharmacy. They know what they're doing and it's always a pleasure interaction. I can't tell you how many times there is a billing issue with one of my meds at other pharmacies. I had it transferred to this location for convenience and it was billed correctly. Appreciated that so much!

The pharmacist Shawn, was my guardian angel today. After a very frustrating experience with the Perth Shoppers and the county Health Unit, Shawn helped book my Rapid Antigen test over the phone, took the time to LISTEN to my concerns and answered my questions. I was so grateful for the time he gave me - I spent 2 hours previously trying to get information from my local Perth shoppers and health unit. Thank you so much Smiths Falls and Shawn your team is amazing.
