Shoppers Drug Mart - Steinbach

Went to clinic yesterday at 1pm and prescription was faxed to drugstore. Went to pick up prescription at 2:30 and was told it would take 4 hours to fill. Is this the standard now? Seems to have changed as never waited that long.

Today I was very disappointed with the customer service I experienced at this store. Typically I really enjoy shopping at the Steinbach Shoppers Drug Mart. My workplace is a short walk down the street, and my co-workers and I walk over almost every weekday during our lunch hour. We are always able to find what we're looking for, and find the store clean and the shopping experience to be pleasant. However, today I took a photo of a lovely bottle of perfume that I am hoping to receive as a wedding anniversary gift, see attached photo for reference, and was very harshly reprimanded by an employee standing nearby. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name, but she was standing behind the cosmetic counter on the phone with another customer when I took the photo. She is an older lady, with short blonde hair and glasses. The scolding that followed would have been acceptable if I had taken said bottle of perfume and placed it in my purse. As I was walking away, she actually placed the customer on the phone on hold, and rudely demanded to know whether I had just taken a photo. When I informed her that yes, I had in fact done so, I was harshly informed that there is a sign somewhere near the entrance to the store that indicates photos are prohibited for privacy reasons. On paper, the words are not so bad, but if you had witnessed this scene you would have thought I was attempting to commit a crime, as I mentioned earlier. Needless to say, I left the store astonished that a quick snapshot of an item on the shelf could elicit such a reaction, and the item in question will certainly not be purchased at this store.

Went to SDM, Monday morning, only one cashier Jessica at front, not rush time asked for photo assistance, she was rude in answering, no smile, no greetings, "what do you need", made wait for 10 min and then unable to help as she said I am not sure how this Photo program works. She need to learn to respect the customer and listen to need and explain or ask for help with peers. Sorry I have to mention this as this spoil my day.

Seems to only have one phone line as its frequently busy, they never answer so i dont know how i even get the opportunity to get a busy signal. Ive called incessantly on 4 seperate occasions with no answer. Pharmacy has gotten my scripts wrong twice (just amount or didnt fill one) and the same day they didnt fill another persons infront of me. Only one cashier is ever kind of half working, they try and force you to take the self checkout. All in all it seems like they just plain dont like business

The worst experience at a pharmacy in my life. This is why I never go there. 24hrs they have had the prescription and have i been here 3 time and everytime I have to wait and they don't have it ready. Half of the prescription was left out I have to go back for a 4th time and wait again till they could get it ready and the pharmacist review it. Will make sure the hospital never sends a RX here again.

Love this place. Never to busy they always have staff to help on the floor and never long line ups. One of my favorite places to shop!!

After being customers at the SDM pharmacy for years, a change in management brought about horrendous service! Long wait times, improper order filling, zero customer service, no answering of phones, no availability of the stock I needed, and no promised call back when meds were back in stock. We finally got fed up and found an amazing pharmacy in town that treats us like family!
