★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I went the food was really fresh and tasty including the salads that we had on the side. The falafel sandwich was fully prepared by one of the staff and was perfectly garnished. I've been back twice and it has not been as good and the side potatoes were definitely a disappointment. The service was friendly and the prices are good but sadly the food taste is not consistent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shish Taouk AlTaib is a nice restaurant serving Halal food in the middle of downtown Montréal. Their menu has good variety of Mediterranean food items. They have plenty of space for group visits.

There is A LOT of food for 12$.
Meat Rice: DELICIOUS, well-spiced rice.
Greek Salad: Very good.
Spicy potatoes: N/A (I don't eat potatoes)
Garlic Sauce: Great.
Hummus: Great.
Chicken: Dry and Chewy. Not very great.
Pita: Fine.
Additionally you can add "toppings" for free like pickled turnips, olives, etc.
Overall the food was good but the chicken was too dry.
The restaurant is very clean and well decorated.
The employee making my food was polite and informative, answering my many questions.
I recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If someone would ask me about my WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE, i would absolutely tell them it's altaib shishtouk or whatever its name is.... i ordered some food, a combo to be precise, and all i got was some old, almost moldy food, it looked so old that you can it was on counter for almost 4 to 5 days, i literally left the whole plate on the table, cause i could't even have another bite, and i know you may think im acting like a Karen, but believe me it was the worst thing ever. And the GUY that works there was the rudest employe ever, he gets mad and he wants to do whatever he wants almost like he was annoyed when i was choosing, and he doesn't even speak politly, i felt like he was yelling at me, he doesn't want to explain when i asked him about the price, you ain't getting no tip with this attitude.... NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN ..
