★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are very happy with the service and quality of workmanship we received from Shield Windows and Doors. Dave came by a couple of times to help us determine the cause of a major leak coming from a large window in our bedroom. This was before we even agreed to hire him to replace the window! He was very professional in letting us know what our options were and did not push us to hire his company. We did anyway and we’re so glad we did. Dave, Poul and his team did an excellent job of replacing the window, removing all evidence of mould and nastiness, and did a great job of finishing and cleaning up. All at a very fair price.
Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend these guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Higher end of the scale price wise in my opinion, but you get only what you pay for.....David, we are very impressed so far with the new windows and doors. The windows especially have made a significant heat difference that can be felt from directly in front of them, the colder weather will prove the doors, no doubt.
I wanted to mention I was impressed with the work of the 3 installers, they did a solid (& quick) job on the installation, and I was happy to see all that foam insulation they used, my wife was impressed with the trim finishing, almost as new.

when We shopped around David promised me the best price and he was right. the best experience was dealing with the owner himself, he takes pride in his workmanship, courtesy & he was on the job with his crews.
We had 9 windows replaced in the summer, one window had rub marks in between the sealed unit and David ordered another one in one month and had it replaced. i would recommend this company anytime for their professional service, on time & responsive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had old solid steel doors double doors that let in a lot of drafts and no light into the front entrance. We wanted a change to a door that stopped the cold coming in and also let in the natural sunlight into the front entrance. We phoned Shield Windows and Doors for a quote and they came as scheduled to get and provide information. After the whole process of signing a contract it took a while for the door to come in due to the pandemic and supply chain issues, but when it came, it was exactly what we thought it would be. The colour is beautiful and it let in all the light we wanted. Installation was done professionally, quickly, and beautifully by the crew (Dave and Poul were helping all along the way). Clean up was done nicely and they also took away all the old junk so I didn't have too. All the drafts are gone with a good spray foam and caulking job, and we can see with all the nice light coming in. There was a small dent on the inside of the window frame from shipping and is being dealt with by Shield. Great service and install from beginning to end, highly recommend them to anyone!
