M	Marc D. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried out the donuts at Sherwood Park Bakery based on some chatter found online. The donuts are delicious, but a little too doughy and heavy for my liking. The apple fritter did have very good flavour though and is quite large. They are quite reasonably priced compared to other donut shops aside from Tim Horton's, but I'd rather pay a bit more for a decent quality donut. I personally like the donuts from Take 5 better, but this shop is closer to home. I'd definitely stop by again when in the area and have a hankering for donuts.

The next day they brought one for me; before the end of the week I drove out to pick up an order. Fabulous and fresh donuts, call ahead to pre-order to avoid missing your favourites.

That’s a bold comment when my family owned a donut shop for many years and I learned to bake donuts. The donuts aren’t fancy, just basic delicious donuts. Good luck getting home before they are all eaten.

Considering we are going through a pandemic it is not surprising some businesses are just not open regularly so this was ok. First off it is a very small storefront so I had high hopes for the doughnuts, considering most of the hole in the wall shops I have gone to before were fantastic. I just ordered a dozen doughnuts of all the kinds they had, which was not a very big selection but sometimes you only need a good product not a thousand different varieties. The customer experience was just ok, nothing to rave about but nothing to complain about either. The aroma upon entering was a very pleasant fried dough smell mixed in with hints of freshly baked bread. Once I was home and sampling all the goodies I didn’t really enjoy them to be honest and neither did my partner. They were a little too doughy, and I’m not sure why but the dough was not as tasty as some doughnuts I’ve had. They lacked flavour….that is the only way I can put it. As far as the price and overall service I would say it is middle of the road. I have not tried any other products though so maybe I will go back one day to do that….just maybe later rather than sooner.
