I did do some renovation work on the church years ago and remember it as a very right wing place. Homophobic literature in the front entrance and such.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fist church that has felt like home to me. The " Word" is emphasized in all sectors of the church community. Every person that enters is warmly greeted & the sense of community further built on.
Realizing that as a person, new to all the people there, I was encouraged by "Travis" (Leading Pastor) to join small groups meeting regularly. Travis took time to meet me personally & listened to my story.
I started to connect with people.
The worship team is wonderful & lead by "Daniel" ( Associate Pastor). With their careful planning, songs & hymns are heartfelt.
All in all, Shelbourne Church of Christ, will continue to be my real home until I go to my heavenly home.
