I Love Shear Bliss! It's so quite and relaxing at times and then other times when it is much busier, it's filled with laughter of happy clients and lovely staff! I always leave with a smile! :)

Disappointed to find the receptionist scheduled me for half the time of my regular appointment. Also, no response when I called and left a message to confirm the appointment time. 15 year client. Was only allowed a trim but the cost is the same for a cut. Interesting that my regular 4 hr appointment with a cut and style costs about the same as the 2 hr appointment, no cut, no style.

Was ok overall. When I originally called there was no appointments the day I wanted but then they were able to fit me in, so I was very happy with that. Then when I got there I showed the hair dresser several photos of what I wanted (was having a touch up to my roots and an overall tone for blonde). Everything was going ok, she was very nice throughout. I did think she was rinsing me a bit early but oh well not a big deal. Then she rinses me and tones me and I get back to the chair and I think “oh this isn’t close to what I wanted” but I don’t say anything cause my hair is still wet maybe when it’s dry it’ll look closer to the photos (happens a lot where I think it’s not cool enough when wet and then dry it looks much more ashy). She dries it and it doesn’t look like she toned it at all, there’s yellow spots, and my roots are very obviously a different shade. Don’t get me wrong the colour wasn’t awful, but it was nothing like I wanted. She asks what I think and I’m honest that the tone isn’t what I wanted. And I’m not expecting her to go tone it right then and there as it’s late and she fit me in at a time she didn’t have to, but I was at least hoping she’d say I could come the next time she had space and she’d touch it up. Instead she has excuses “oh well you don’t lift well (I’ve been bleaching and toning my hair for years and every hair dresser has said how easily and well my hair lifts), oh the yellow will go away after one purple shampoo (it did not), oh well it’s hard to get that tone with what colour we got you (never been that far off from the photo before). Honestly I was just really disappointed, and I wasn’t trying to be rude to her and I get defending your work, but at the end of the day it wasn’t close to what I wanted and I’ve never had that issue before. I went somewhere else the next time and they were able to get me exactly where I wanted to be. I should also note that I told her from the start that I’d rather the end colour be darker than the photos so it fades better and it ended up several shades lighter than the photo. I debated posting anything for a while, and I initially wasn’t going to, but the more I think about it the more disappointed I get. If she had offered to retone it or touch it up the next time she had time (I would have paid for it not expecting anything free) I would have been satisfied, but the fact that I told her I wasn’t happy and she just offered excuses really upsets me.
