Sharp Marine Restoration & Joinery

Hi Everyone. I just wanted to share what an excellent experience I had working with Dave and his team at Sharp Marine Restoration. I recently bought a Vintage 1956 Monk 40 Ft Yacht which I knew needed some work that was beyond my ability. Nothing huge, but a few planks on my hull needed to be replaced. So after doing some research and talking to a few people at the Boat Yard at Shelter Island Marina, Dave Sharp and his team at Sharp Marine Restoration came highly recommended, so I hired them to do the work. Dave and his team did an awesome job and even though there were a few unexpected things that came up once we started pulling planks (which I had built a contingency into my budget for), Dave and his team still came in on time and under budget!!! ... On time and under budget!!! ... When does that EVER actually happen?? Well guess what? It did for me thanks to Dave and his guys! They worked efficiently, Dave totally understood my priorities and by budget, and they did and outstanding job! In addition to all of the above, Dave and his staff are just straight up awesome, kind and decent people! It was clear to me that Sharp Marine Restoration genuinely care about their customers! Thank you so much guys! I will see you again soon for stage 2... and 3 and 4 and 5... Lol. Kidding aside, I would not hesitate to recommend or refer people to Sharp Marine Restoration.
