★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you Shanghai Chinese Food again, again and again times over. I have been going here for years. Owner's are wonderful and great food to match! A warm greeting and smiles everytime. Absolutely fantastic food every time. Always hot, fresh, delicious, full of flavour and large portions. A must have!
Everything from a last minute dinner, to a full planned out meal. I've ordered in every situation possible from these fantastic business owners and every time it reminds me why I keep going back! Not that I needed to be reminded :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had 3 combo plates, rating all a 0/5. Wheres the authentic chinese taste Shanghai Chinese Food owners??? It was horribly bland and scarce for the price. I would NOT recommend this place!!! Dry garlic ribs extremely dried up, rice was bland, broccoli was warm but almost raw hardly cooked. Breaded shrimp was oily and bland and came with no sweet and sour sauce, sweet and sour sauce itself was not tasty, sweet and sour ribs were tough and oily and over battered. Overall very disappointed. Shanghai owners I hope you take this review seriously because your only hurting your own business if you dont.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered special dinner for 5, didn't buzz the code, had a missed call so returned to have them say oh, driver downstairs. Went downstairs waited 20 min. He says order is 72 dollars when the menu says 37.50 .. didn't purchase because they tried to give me different order. Highly recommend you don't go here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have ordered from Shanghai MANY times and have always enjoyed it. Until tonight. I cut into what was supposed to be a sweet and sour chicken ball in my combo FF. I cut into a dough covered white ball of powder. It was literal powder.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been ordering from here for over 15 years. While there are disappointments sometimes (bland, items missing, etc), overall, we enjoy the food and continue to order from them. We recently tried the sesame chicken and it is our new favourite. Prices are reasonable and there is always plenty of leftovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had pretty high expectations because the skip score was so high (9) and the egg roll I ate first was good, and I figured because my food took literally 2 hours to come, it would be at least yummy and well cooked . OH MY GOD how could I have been so wrong??? THIS FOOD IS DISGUSTING. Like, disgusting. This was hands down the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The food came completely cold and the meat looked and tasted very strange with a gross and slimey(beef) or extremely dry texture(chicken). The vegetables were sparse and what was there was barely cooked. The BBQ fried rice OMG YUCK!!! This was the worst, I couldn't even eat it because of how disgusting it smelled, the smell being reminiscent of a cross between a dirty diaper and a week old forgotten bag of garbage in the garage. My entire dinner this evening has been an egg roll, the rest of this food will be thrown away promptly. My family is starving after having waited for 2 hours to only receive a completely inedible dinner. After finally reading some of these reviews, I realize I may not even get my $70 back for this order. DO NOT ORDER HERE. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU JUST ORDER A CHEAP PIZZA OR MAKE A GRILLED CHEESE AT HOME BECAUSE YOU WILL BE FAR LESS DISAPPOINTED.

My wife and I wanted to try a different Chinese place than our usual to we decided to give Shanghai a try. We ordered sweet & sour chicken balls, jar doo chicken wings, spring rolls, and Singapore noodles.
At first everything seemed fine. Food was hot when it arrived an hour later but the timing was no big deal.
Everything LOOKED fine. But when we tried the chicken balls it had almost a compost type taste. Like the ingredients they used were old and rotten. The spring rolls had the exact IDENTICAL taste. Compost. That’s the only way we can describe it. The Singapore noodles were hot but the shrimp was cold as if they were just pulled out of the fridge and thrown into the noodles. Super gross. The wings were fine.
All in all, don’t try this place. I had to stay home from work today because I’m feeling ill.
