★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were passing through so only stayed one night. It is a very pretty, clean campground and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. If we are ever driving through this area again, we would definitely arrange to stay there again. We would highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Harold and Kathy make your stay quite memorable. From kids playing in the yard to helping me with my trailer issues. They treat everyone like family. We could only stay for a month. There is something for everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Harald and Cathie are wonderful hosts! The campground is spotless, the landscaping so well groomed and the flowers are gorgeous! It was like being in a true "park". You can tell there is real pride of ownership here.
We will be back for sure!
*Note to Cathie - thank you again for shutting off our water and calling us when our toilet overflowed because of our sticky flush pedal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great campground. I came in on a motorcycle and they have covered tent spots that I could park my bike in beside my tent so nothing got wet if it rained. Clean hot showers were very nice with good water pressure. I will definitely be stopping here again when I come back through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Shady Rest RV Park is simply great. Harald, the new owner since a couple months, he does a wonderful job on site. Lovely RV full hookup spaces for any size & clean and roomy washrooms (toilets and showers). We just stayed over night, but we can recommend the Shady Rest for any duration. Best of luck Harald and thx for your help!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely stay here. The hosts Cathy and Harald are wonderful, kind, and do a great job of keeping the place beautiful with lush hanging flower baskets and garden. Facilities are very well kept - bathrooms are bright and clean, laundry room also has a sink for washing dishes. Small picnic bench at each site and the fire ring has a grill covering the entire surface if you're inclined to cook by fire.
We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.
