Could not have asked for a better program and university to help me prepare for my career in media and marketing. Great professors, loved how there were classes in all 3 campuses and particularly enjoyed how well run the faculty was. I wouldn't change a thing about my experience at SFU.

I would be lying if I didn't say that SFU CMNS has changed my life intellectually and developmentally as a person, because it actually has. I transferred to SFU CMNS from a smaller college in Fall 2017 and my experience keeps getting better each day. There are a variety of CMNS courses you can take depending on your interests, and the faculty and student union (CMNSU) is always planning out new and fun events, activities, and things to do for the student body - I find that it is one of the faculties at SFU that genuinely cares for the needs, wants, and interests of their students. Take a CMNS course, attend an event related to CMNS or befriend a CMNS student and you will see what I mean :)

Incredibly proud to be a part of SFU's Communication program, and to see it grow with local, national, and global technological advancements. The faculty & staff of SFU CMNS work hard to provide the best opportunities for every student, as the opportunities and potential of the degree continue to expand. The SFU CMNS Co-op program is a must-do!

The CMNS faculty is amongst the best at SFU. The calibre of professor is second to none and the focus on new media and trends was refreshing. The faculty is one of the corner stones of SFU. Whether you take it as a major, a minor or just take some communications courses for extra credits you will not be disappointed. The depth of experience that some of the professors have is second to none. Make sure you tap into their vast knowledge and experience on top of just sitting in lectures. You won't be disappointed.

My undergraduate experience at the SFU School of Communication is the highlight of my academic career so far. Throughout the years (including a full year of co-operative education placements) I was able to explore practical and theoretical elements of communication, media, and culture. The faculty were informative and passionate about their focus areas and research.

I never regretted my decision to pursue the grad program at SFU School of Communication. The school is among the best ones in Canada for media and communication studies and I had the opportunity to learn from the talented faculty members. I was very impressed with the faculty' members' expertise in diverse research areas and the community initiatives that they lead outside of SFU. In many ways, seeing their work has also inspired my to discover and pursue my own research interests! I would highly recommend the school to anyone looking to pursue grad studies in the field of media, technology and communication.
