Dr. Jiwei Du began his study in traditional Chinese Medicine in a very young age, for more than 30 years he kept learning the essence of the profession. For acupuncture in particular, for which and has mastered special techniques that few TCM doctors attended and successfully treated countless patients throughout his 20 plus years of practice For example, the “Zi-Wu” needle technique, an ancient needle technique that is based on the space time relation, which can effectively treat complex chronic symptoms. The special acupuncture points technique, using points that are especially effective against symptoms that difficult to treat in conventional ways.

Dr. Du also has a history for effectively relieving psychological/mental conditions, such as depression, anxiety disorders, chronic and acute. Treating pain related symptoms is also one of Dr. Du’s specialty. Patients find it to be remarkable, as their muscle pain, for example, not improved by western drugs but found immediate relief after being treated by Dr. Du’s acupuncture.

The secret in treatment efficacy in TCM mainly relies on accurate pulse taking-one unique TCM symptoms detecting technique. Dr. Du, through his decades long practice, has excelled in this technique and is able to treat his patients accordingly, often without the complaints being told by the patient.

L	Louise wu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would highly recommend the Serenity Professional Massage and Acupuncture Centre. My neck has a very big dowager's hump, which has bothered me for many years. I have tried many chiropractors, massage, and acupuncture. I felt very painful, and I had no idea which way to turn; therefore, I posted a question and asked for a clinic recommendation online. A stranger online recommended me this place to try. What a surprise! I felt my neck didn't hurt so much after the first treatment, and I can't believe that my dowager's hump actually became visualized smaller. I felt the same way after the second treatment too. To be honest, I never thought acupuncture would really help for my dowager's hump. I would say that is not magic, and it turns me to believe Dr. Du must have accomplished with sound knowledge and rich experience to find the crux and help solve my problem. So I booked a series of treatments right away. I would love to recommend Dr. Du to anyone who indeed needs a cure!

During the massage, when its sore, she explains how the pain became to be. It’s always nice to know what she is doing. Her pressure is perfect and she knows what she is doing. She would always be happy to teach me how to stretch to reduce the soreness. She is also attentive. She always asks if she can touch my hair or forehead etc because she is using oil for massage. The linen is very clean and comfortable. The entire place is perfectly clean and relaxing. Also the best Acupuncture place!!!!!! Highly recommend!!

I had no clue why I had chronic cough without any diagnosis. Then I went to Dr Du's previous clinic on 1st Ave. I stopped coughing after about 6 treatments. I started coughing after getting COVID this year, and I went to Dr.Du's clinic again! I could tell there was a huge difference within couple weeks.

His high level of understanding, precision and training began with his father in China [who also was a Dr. of acupuncture there] when he was a young boy. He has over +20yrs experience performing acupuncture. Dr. Du has given me treatments for asthma, sinus, neck, back muscle pains as well as tendons. I’ve had great relief from pain and symptoms. His subcutaneous treatments I’ve had for neck pain provided a level of relief I never thought possible. I’ve had RMT massage from Meng. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Du and Serenity Clinic for treatments and regular maintenance.

The receptionist / massage therapist is always so friendly and empathetic...which is so wonderful when you are in pain. Dr. Ji Wei Du is very compassionate and never EVER rushes through an appointment. In fact I can't believe how much time he spends treating me while I am there. He always answers all my questions and is very friendly and kind. I am so so happy that I found this clinic and will be going there for many years to come!
