★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le sentier Gabrielle-Roy Est relie l’intersection Route 138 / Rue Principale au Chemin de la Martine en parcourant la crête du Mont Gabrielle-Roy, au profil particulier : montée, descente, montée, descente. Le sentier est bien aménagé et offre de beaux points de vue. La randonnée est un aller-retour. Il n’y a pas de section trop boueuse. Une table à pique-nique est disponible en chemin, avec vue sur l’Île-aux-Coudres. Inexplicablement, il y a un banc seulement d’un côté de cette table
The Gabrielle-Roy East trail connects the Route 138 / Rue Principale intersection with Chemin de la Martine along the crest of Mont Gabrielle-Roy, with a particular profile: ascent, descent, ascent, descent. The trail is well laid out and offers some beautiful views. The hike is a round trip. There is no section that is too muddy. A picnic table is available along the way, with a view of Île-aux-Coudres. Inexplicably, there is a bench only on one side of this table

Very nice trail! I would tell you about the view but it was raining to drink up and the view was blocked!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view at the summit is worth the 2km uphill. We did and out and back from the eastern trailhead and climbed to the lookout at 4.3 km marker. Very few people on the well marked and well defined trail. The picnic table is under snow, don't plan on using ot for lunch. :)
