I graduated from the Animal Health Technology program in 2010 from Red River College. I'm one of the Registered Vet Technicians here at SVS. I've been with Selkirk Veterinary Services, since May of 2010. The surgical aspect of a vet medicine is what I enjoy the most; from monitoring patients under anesthetic to assisting in the surgery itself.
In my free time I like to go camping with my husband, kids and our dog Riley in the summer. We also have a cat named Mikey that can do tricks! Maintaining and caring for my vegetable and flower gardens are one of my favourite pastimes. Also making crafts such as jewellery and reading are some of the hobbies that keep me busy at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going to this place for years, About 10. This year the owner decided she doesn't like me and and as making me pay a 350 deposit on my last 2 appointmen that I have not missed. I asked why and they told me simply because the owner does not like you. I am very hurt I left crying and will be looking for a new veterinarian clinic.
Why did your employees say the owner does not like some people.... that is my problem!!!! And I'm now going to Mcphillips animal hospital. They only charge me 65 dollars to see my great Danes.
Maybe you need to take a business course?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called to ask about getting nail trims for my kitties.. She asked how they were in regards to getting nail trims and i mentioned not great, one of my cat's has anxiety. She put me on hold to ask if they would be able to take me. She came back and said that because my cats were not there I guess for a long time, and they weren't up-to-date on their annual exams... which actually they are, but at a different vet.... that she would not take my kitties for a nail trim. I was kind of in shock! like ok soooo because I haven't been there for a while and because they haven't seen my cats.. you won't give them a nail trim ??? And she said yeah that's the reason!... like what in the actual heck?? I'm still shocked. Refusing business??.. ohhhK!.... So I'm wondering now with my pets.... If they needed an emergency visit or something would they see me or not because I haven't been there before makes me really wonder. Well I'm glad I have always been going to the Selkirk animal hospital on Christie Ave. that's where I will be staying and giving my business always to. Wow! *smh*

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took our kitten here to get spayed and for a vaccine. All the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful, the cost for it all was very reasonable as well. Overall it was a great experience and we are very happy with everything.
