John also happens to be a very fun and personable guide to ski with. Regardless of the conditions, John and Selkirk Powder descents will curate an amazing skiing experience by balancing experience level with snow / weather conditions. I have been skiing with John for the past 7 years and have had many unforgettable adventures in the Canadian backcountry with him.

My husband and I had 12 ski tours in and around Rogers Pass, including a 4-day AST 2 course, with John Everts of Selkirk Powder Descents. We had complete trust in John's decision making while we were out. He talked about different terrain features, terrain to avoid, and safe terrain for travel. He updated us about avalanche conditions at the beginning of each day. Because John knows the area well, we always skied untracked runs. John also kept the group size small (2 - 5 guests).
We thoroughly enjoyed all of our ski tours with John, and I'm sure you will as well.
