About Self Advocacy Federation
We meet once a week to talk about things that are important to us! We show each other what we know and invite other people to show us about the things we want to know more about! We help people stand up for themselves! We create the chance for everyone to learn about people with disabilities! We help other organizations that are working to make the community a better place
How can you join?
Want to be a member?
Do you identify as having a developmental disability? Are you over 18 years old? Do you want to have your voice heard and advocate for your rights as well as those of others with disabilities? Join us for a meeting! We meet every Tuesday between 4:00pm-5:30pm. Have any questions? Contact Us!
Want to be an ally?
Are you a person who does not have a disability but are passionate about advocating for people with disabilities? Do you believe that disability rights are human rights and that all people have the right to be treated equally? Do you have skills that could be useful to us? Skills include filming, event facilitation, etc. Want to volunteer and be an ally of the Self Advocacy Federation Contact us today to be interviewed by our steering committee!
