★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed both the bacon Benny and the Belgium waffles here. Sitting outside in the nice weather was very enjoyable. Not crazy about the right handed mugs though; What about us Lefties and people with a broken right hand?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The breakfast here is amazing. I stopped here with my cycling group for a quick brunch and we were all blown away. The Second Home Restaurant is a casual, small town place where you can go to expect some delicious comfort food at a reasonable price. I'm a big fan of waffles and these ones are delicious. They're not the fanciest, but they taste home made and delicious. And for $9, I was impressed with the amount I received.
The French toast that others in my group looked delicious too and is something to consider as well.
The restaurant is located in the upper part of Summerland just off of the highway. It's a great little spot to stop at for a home cooked breakfast and I know I'll be back. The patio outside would be nice when the weather is a bit better.

They have a great patio, so we had an awesome breakfast there.

Our server, who immediately recognized us as fellow vegetarians, gave thoughtful suggestions to make minor modifications. Our breakfast was awesome because of it. Sorry we didn't catch your name!
