★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very different experience. Went with my yoga instructor and 14 others. Would have been nice to know ahead of time that the driveway is very difficult (luckily I have a crossover) and that food is very far away limiting you to what is provided which is made by the volunteers. Food was very beautiful, however all vegetarian and as someone with ibs and all my intolerances are vegetables I had to take insane amounts of immodium every meal just incase (ethnic food). Additionally was not aware that we would have to help with cleaning up after dinner. During which time we were told we were not allowed to talk and had to hurry up because we were going too slow. I understand why they said that, as they had a tight schedule and were on functional silence, but when I paid my $300 for the 3 days I had envisioned having choices for meals and not being run under a strict time schedule. None the less it was extremely beautiful and the volunteers were lovely. It reminded me of staying on my late grandparents ranch. Nice hiking trails, a beautiful lake. Wildlife. Labeled flora. Beautiful cedar yoga Pavillion. Private cabins or can stay in the lodge.
