★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to get a new card and the teller would not except my drivers license as ID because it expires at the end of the month. So went to call in and they say it's a 15min wait to talk to anyone. Way to piss a customer off. Thanks for al the help. NOT!!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ terrible service.....waited 45 minutes to get a new bank card....teller then noticed after having my ID the entire time that it had just expired. Refused to issue new card after taking 45 minutes to get to this point. I am in the bank every week, they all know me yet this was an issue. I began the process 2 weeks before xmas, and still am waiting for a new card. Popped over to the TD across the street had my deposit cashed in 2 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have bank with this branch since the 90's. The services we received has always been commendable however over the years with staff turnover we get to meet new hires or staff occasionally transfered from another branch so a new relationship is initiated. Touch wood so far so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this bank is not even worth 1 star. It should be zero. The manager was hysterical and rude. She only cared about covering her own back and withheld our money for 7 days for no good reason. The bank charges monthly fees and service fees while they provided no service, only hassles. It was an absolute mistake to be banking with Scotia, especially the branch in Sidney.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am puzzled by the negative comments expressed by some people, I have banked here for 15 years and have always been treated very well by the bank staff. It is true that over the years the policy of Scotiabank itself has changed and become more profit driven, but that is head office. At the branch level they are still great people.
One reviewer mentions there are less people in line at the bank these days - that is to be expected as more people do their banking online.
Way to go, Sidney Scotiabank!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WORST BRANCH EVER!!! Just started my own fishing Charter business in Sidney. Asked branch for a few simple things was told can't help me because I was to young and needed at least 1yr of books bla bla bla!!!. Went down the road to RBC got in right away and was given a line of credit a Visa card and new business account. This all happened within an hour. If your a young business owner looking for a branch in Sidney avoid this branch like the plague. The manager and one of the tellers "Va*** needs to GO !!! I did NOT need a cosigner nor any books just a business plan.
