They have no employees so if you want to do any banking here then you’re gonna have to wait a few hours. Big disappointment, use another bank

Does anyone work here? I booked an appointment online more than a week in advance and nobody called. Then I called them and spent HOURS on hold before being transferred to someone from corporate who couldn't even help me.

I'm extremely frustrated. Seems the overall customer service we've been getting from Scotia has not been great, from not being able to reach a branch member without a special number, to being given different information from everyone we talk to. But our most recent experience with this branch has me just mad to be honest. We own a home in BC that we are trying to get an equity loan for. We phoned our BC branch, they gave us Betty's phone number. We called and left a message that was never returned. We called back to the call center and made an appointment with a different representative. We had the appointment with him, but he was leaving 2 days after our appointment for a 10 day vacation. We expressed that we would like to have his coworker, again Betty, contact us with the info we needed to move forward. That was the 15th of March. Fast forward to today, the 4th of April, we finally get in contact with no other than our original representative back from vacation, who told us that she had gotten some info that would completely change our course of action, but she NEVER CONTACTED US, again! 3 weeks of wasted time. Thanks Betty!

It is impossible to reach the branch directly via phone so you have to call the call center and wait 45 min+. The advisors never answer their phones when you dial their ext neither do they return your calls. This means calling the call center again. If the advisor goes on leave, your case is on hold till they return. They will also not respond to any of your emails that you sent during their absence. If you don't like this, you can call the call center and request a different advisor and you start over. I had a chat with the Bank Manager and she places all the blame on the customer and has no interest in customer care. The service at this branch is non excitant and they take no responsibility for their poor service nor do they have interest in improving their service. I will say, this Branch was good once but no longer is.
