About SCA Community Association
The SCA has Tennis & Pickleball courts in the neighbourhoods of Strathcona and Christie.
Rules:
- Use of courts is at your own risk.
- Access to the courts is free for all residents with valid SCA CA membership. You can purchase or renew your family’s membership online or at the office.
- Use of the courts are first come first serve basis.
- All players are limited to 30 minutes of playing time if there are people waiting to play on the tennis courts.
- Courts are for tennis and pickleball use only.
- Hours 8:00 am – 9:00 pm.
- Pets not permitted.
- Please share the courts with players of all abilities.
- Courts may close without notice due to maintenance, repairs or poor weather.
- You can purchase or renew your $20 SCA CA membership online

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a venue for a friend's wedding. Excellent venue with an awesome view of downtown from the upper floor. Kitchen facilities were good and lots of rooms for supplies and other purposes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been here for a few birthday parties inside and outside, and for stampede events. The indoor facilities are clean and flexible for multiple uses. However, the basement room doesn't absorb sound well, so a small crowd can sound louder than it otherwise would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hosted a wedding here. The facilities are nice and everyone was pleasant to deal with. The low rating is due to the fact that rental of the facilities did not allow for us to do the tear down of the decorations and other items the following day due to prior commitments for the space. Which resulted in our wedding becoming far more of a "Help clean up the mess from the party" instead of a celebration. I can confidently say our wedding generated more revenue for them than the meeting the following morning. Coming from a hospitality background, I would definitely encourage the management to reassess their priorities when it comes to events held, and how they choose whether or not to show leniency. The only concession made was that we could load EVERYTHING into a U-haul the night of the wedding (3am-ish), and could leave the U-Haul onsite in one far corner of the lot (Gee, thanks).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SCA Community Association hosted the Miss Teen Calgary and Miss Jr. Teen Calgary pageant last yesterday. My arms are still tired form all the clapping and cheering. It turned out wonderfully the event was super well run lots of room and seating in a really cool building. Hope to go back for an other event in the future.
