★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced, cluttered and dingy. Poor selection, frequently out of stock on many items and produce that is barely fit to be sold. Expect produce to only last a few days.
When prices are compared using most shopping apps, you can see that Save-on is using the lack of grocery competition (there is only one other store) to charge as much as possible for groceries. It is unsurprising that Calgary is the grocery destination for those who can afford the time and travel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shelves were empty in places. Clearly a Reno going on but felt very dirty. There were bottles of sauce that had a full layer of dirt/dust on them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the unfortunate experience of leaving my wallet behind in Lake Louise. No card, no cash and I still managed to grab some essentials using my reward points. The 2 ladies at the cash register, Mickla & Trish made my day by being so very accommodating. Mickla went beyond that and paid for my recycling fee so I could take home a jug of milk.

My wife and I have been shopping here for many years and it is our very favorite store based on customer experience. Thank you Save-on !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our stops when we are at Canmore. Has reasonable priced items, they are a little bit more than Calgary but given that they are in Canmore the prices make sense. Very clean, friendly, and well maintained.
