Spacious apartments with lots of great amenities available on site. The staff is wonderful; Andrada is so helpful, welcoming, and friendly! She knows every tenant in the building by name and always takes a moment to chat and see how you are doing. It's clear she is very passionate about what she does, and she makes the building feel more like a community. Maintenance team is great too, always very quick and professional. Great place to live!

I moved out of the building this week because I couldn’t handle how horrible the living situation here has become. Frequent fire alarms at all hours, neighbors screaming at each other in the middle of the night, illegal entries into my apartment, no heat during -35 weather, no access to the building through the parkade, break ins, no amenities yet our rent goes up every chance they get. The the straw that broke the camels back: jackhammering the concrete in the suite next to mine causing a noise level within my apartment that caused a splitting headache while I was working nights and was supposed to be sleeping all day. I did not sleep that day. I literally could not recommend this building less.

This place is absolutely terrible. Been here almost half a year and has gone down hill nearly weekly. Constant fire alarms at all hours of the night, vehicles broken into in the Parkade (zero security) unannounced entry into my apartment while I was in the shower, management is beyond useless. Took away all of our amenities and now we have a curfew of coming into the building before 10pm as our key fobs no longer work. Absolutely terrible experience as soon as my lease is over I'm gone

If you don’t mind waking up to fire trucks showing up out front every week, come on down. Don’t forget about the bums, toxic neighbors they don’t do anything about, break ins, fires in the stairwells, mail boxes broken into. This place has gone to hell over the last year. Don’t come here until things change, zero accountability from their head office! Can’t reach anyone. One bright spot is the lady at the front. She seems kind and helpful. I’m sure she’s overwhelmed. Shame on Northland!

I've lived here for two years, and up until November it was managed by a company called Quadreal. To be honest, they weren't great. Although the management of the tower specifically was good, they were limited in what they could actually do for us, the residents. Rent steadily increased during this time and the amenities, which are a large part of what we are paying for, were largely closed due to Covid. No complaints there, people have to stay safe, but there was no compensation or even recognition that residents were paying for services that they weren't getting. When it was sold to Northland Asset Management on November 1st, things became worse. We were given one day's notice of the sale, our rent was not taken out until November 20th at the earliest (which made financial planning extremely difficult and frustrating), our two maintenance guys (Peter and Rodelio, who we loved) were fired with no explanation and there is no clear route to submit maintenance requests, security is lax and we have had two fires in the stairwells in a month because people are camping and trying to stay warm, Northland will not honour any contracts made with Quadreal, at least not without a fight, so a lot of my friends in the building have had to send email after email to get even part of what they were promised in terms of sign-on bonuses, etc. Most recently and egregiously, the key fob system to enter the building has stopped working, and since maintenance is so hard to reach (or nonexistent???) the solution is to hire someone to sit at the front door from 10 AM to 7 PM and open it for people. This basically means that outside of these hours there is a curfew of inconvenience, which sucks if, like me and a lot of other residents, you have dogs that have to go out early and you are stuck waiting to sneak in when the next pet owner goes out. Folarin is the building manager, and she has been nothing but friendly and helpful. However, it is clear that Northland is not providing her the resources to do her job properly. With the exception of Folarin (who, again, is doing as well as anyone could with this company), I wish I could give this place negative stars. UPDATE: after the residents conducted a full campaign, Northland re-hired one of the old maintenance guys. There has been a noticeable improvement in the condition of the building with Peter back (β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️Peterβ™₯️β™₯️β™₯️). They have also been dropping rent steadily to deal with the mass exodus of people. Basically, if you move here, Folarin and Peter (and another big shout out to Susan, who does the cleaning!) are great to deal with, but you've gotta take the good with the bad of Northland, a company which will only do the bare minimum once extreme pressure is placed on them.

Could not recommend the building less. The Northland management that has recently taken over (without any notice to residents might I add) had been absolutely horrible. We have dealt with constant fire alarms going off, some with fires and some without, homeless people pretty much have free range of the building, unannounced entry into the suites, they have taken away our amenities without decreasing rent, absolutely no security of the building, and they have fired the maintenance people who were the only good people working for the building. The rent is way too high for the quality of living and it is completely unacceptable. As soon as our lease is up we are out of here.

The building was sold to a new management company (Northland) and residents of Saskatoon Towers were given no notice. Quadreal was far from perfect, but the building has significantly gone down hill under new management. - They fired our maintenance men, and now I'm not even sure if we have maintenance on site. There is no clear system for submitting maintenance requests, the building has given in-proper "notice of entry" notification. -I lost my $500 referral credit that was to be provided to me for referring a friend to the building, as I was advised that this was "an agreement made with the previous rental company, and not Northland. Northland is not respecting our leases.. -There also is a lack of security. And there has been 2 fires in the one stairwell in the last 3 months - there have also been a number of "false alarms" at all hours of night and day. -Most recently, the fob system to let us into the building has malfunctioned, requiring us to walk to walk from our parking spot (which is a multiple story parking lot) to the main floor to buzz ourselves in through our cellphone, or to be let in by the woman they hired to open the door from 10am-7pm. There was no communication from management for 2 days regarding this issue, and the communication that has been provided has been limited. A lot of doors have also been propped open due to this which has resulted in people who do not reside in the building coming in and out of the building, hanging out in the stairwells, and unfortunately not respecting the building. -During this cold snap my apartment has been in between 10 and 15 degrees even though I have my thermostat set to 30. I have emailed regarding management regarding this. Nothing has changed. I ended up having to buy a space heater just to keep my apartment a bearable temperature. I literally had to sleep at my sisters house one night because it is so cold. I love the location of the building, and my neighbours have been lovely, but I would not recommend this building to anyone. For the amount we pay in rent this is extremely unacceptable. Also I noticed a lot of previous positive reviews about Andrada, but unfortunately she is also no longer working here.

I have been renting at Saskatoon Towers for three years and the management has been incredibly difficult to deal with most of that time. The company Northland bought the building from the company Quadreal a few months ago - we the renters of the building were notified the day before Northland took over as management. Northland had us submit direct deposit forms to pay our rent, and it took them 20 days into January for the rent to come out of our accounts with no communication throughout that time. Our very friendly and helpful maintenance people were fired. Management notified us that they would be entering our units anytime from Monday-Friday 0900-1700 to replace sprinkle heads (this length of time for landlords to enter units is illegal). I am unsure if there are any emergency maintenance people and there has been no communication from Northland about these things. Last night our FOB system to get into the building was not working and still isn't - it has been -30 degrees Celsius outside. No one was able to get ahold of any sort of emergency maintenance to fix it. Again, I'm not even sure how to contact emergency maintenance or submit any maintenance requests. My sister's unit a few floors down was 10 degrees Celsius last night and she had to come sleep on my couch and buy a space heater today. I doubt she will be compensated. I know two people that never received their rental incentives from Quadreal; $500 referral credit and one free month of rent. Northland has stated they will not be honoring those incentives. There have been 2 fires in the North stairwell in the last three months. When Quadreal was managing Impark took over managing our parkade. We all had to set up accounts to pay our parking fees, the expense to set up these accounts were $25 and we were not compensated for this. Impark quickly stopped managing the parkade and we had to change how we pay and park again. The amenities are nice, but were understandably shut down because of covid - however our rent increased over this time and we were not compensated for losing these amenities. The gym was a big reason I chose this building. Living here has turned out to have lots of unexpected expenses, lots of uncertainties, lots of disruptions in our daily lives, and it is frankly unsafe. For the high price they charge for rent it is not worth it and I will be moving as soon as possible.
