About Saskatoon Community Clinic
The Saskatoon Community Clinic is a primary health care service provider. Our ultimate goal is to build a healthy population by offering support that focuses on healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, patient education and diagnosis and treatment.
Our inter-disciplinary group of salaried health professionals work together as a team to provide a wide range of services and programs at two locations: Downtown Clinic (455 2nd Ave. N.) and Westside Clinic (1528 20th St. W).
We are Saskatoon’s only primary health care co-operative. A co-operative, by definition, is an organization with a willingness and ability to work with others. It is owned by and operated for the benefit of those using its services. The co-operative structure involves member input in policy and direction setting. Co-operatives follow seven principles:
- Voluntary and open membership
- Democratic member control
- Member economic participation
- Autonomy and independence
- Education, training and information
- Co-operation among co-operatives
- Concern for community
Those who use our services can become members of the Community Health Services (Saskatoon) Association Ltd. The Community Health Services (Saskatoon) Association Ltd. is a non-profit health care co-operative that lives by this definition and follows these principles. It is the governing body for the Saskatoon Community Clinic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful health service in time of a pandemic crisis. They have the worse protocol for not testing people who haven't traveled. I'm reporting them to Health Canada as they're increasing the spread of this deadly and serious virus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was one month pregnat.During my visit I complained about discharges Dr. Ibrahim put the wrong diagnosis and didn't pay attention about my complains. She said I have this kind problems because I am old ( I am 33) and sent me for blood and urine test . Her mistake led me to an emergency surgery , rupturing of my tube and massive bleeding. I don't recommend her to anybody

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I received great service from my NP, lab and pharmacy staff at the clinic. Staff were all friendly, professional and efficient. Referral to specialist was made in a timely manner. Excellent care and follow up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude and judgmental secretary. I called to schedule an appointment today and the secretary was trying to give me medical advice and refused to help me schedule an appointment. If the secretary is that rude and unprofessional then I can only imagine what the other medical staff are like. Don’t waste your time on this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to the pandemic my nurse practitioner asked me to call her for a follow-up call vs coming into the city for a 10 minute appointment. I was prescribed a new medication and she just needed the numbers to ascertain its effectiveness, today I called and ran into a rude receptionist who interrupted me when I was explaining the need for a phone call follow-up, this isn't the first time I have heard of this poor attitude and quite frankly it's unprofessional for an employee to be so rude like that. The nurse practitioner gets a 5 star but that receptionist gets a 2 and I'm being generous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has nothing to do with the doctors but their reception staff could do with some customer relations training. Quite rude interaction. When a patient of your clinic calls with a problem, you don't interrupt them with "you can go to a walk in clinic". What is the essence of having a family doctor if they can never get to see you? Where's the continuity of service? In search of a new clinic at this point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been a member for over 30 years, and the clinic has always taken care of me. The doctors, nurse practitioners, and lab techs are routinely warm and professional, and the whole enterprise exists through cooperation!
We're lucky to have this model of healthcare available in Saskatoon.
