I have a complete tear of my PCL. My physiotherapist told me that I needed a $3,000 brace. I went to SaskAbilities after my surgical consult with a prescription for the brace because I was told the province would pick up $400 of the cost. Well I had my consultation with Keith and he gave us some wonderful information and got me fitted for the correct brace for my injury and our end will come out to around $300, NOT $3,000. He also made adjustments to the brace I originally purchased from my physio office when the injury was new and showed me the correct way to wear it, which physio never did at the time of purchase, which made a huge difference. My husband and I are eternally grateful to Keith and the rest of the crew at SaskAbilities. This once again reinforces that not for profit groups will always be the best option. Thank you Keith!
