β β β β β Visited here around 3pm, very quiet. Warm, old fashioned style decor. Standard Taiwanese style food. Nice place to stay if you live in this neighbourhood.

β β β β β Terrible service. Server spilled scalding hot budae soup on my foot, didn't even apologize. Then the soup itself had no spicy flavour to it, was bland and extremely sour. Never coming back.

β β β β β A little Taiwanese restaurant. Have a family run feel. Good selection on menu. Tried couple dishes. There were good. Bibimba was nice except the meat was a little dry. Will try some more dishes in the future visits.

β β β β β Taiwanese comfort food. Great portion for the price. The salt and pepper popcorn chicken was very good. Seafood hotpot had lots of vermicelli and tofu. Large seating area with many books free to enjoy while dining. Food took a bit long to get to table, otherwise service was fine. Usually no waiting for table which is great for a quick bite!

β β β β β This is probably the worst overpriced restaurant I have ever went in my life. Please donβt call this a taiwanese restaurant; growing up in Taiwan, I have never been to a restaurant where popcorn chickens have no taste and braised pork rice served with 3 coloured peas (also no taste)
The braised pork took 20 minutes to prepare and I was out of time when it was finally ready. I have tried asking when it will be ready to verify if they have missed my order, but the waiter didnβt even apologize for the slow service, and coldly replied me by saying its not ready yet.
Finally, they still dare charging 0.25$ for the plastic bag for take-out at the end. I really was out of time for my next appointment because of their slow services. My friend ordered popcorn chicken rice and got it within 10 minutes, but my braised pork rice (which should require less than 5 minutes to prepare) ended up coming after 20 minutes.
Please donβt call this a taiwanese restaurant. Oh btw your ηδΈθΎ£ was tasteless and oily af also.

β β β β β First time trying Sasaya Bistro! I was walking around the area and the vegetarian spicy hotpot poster on the window caught my eye! I ordered the vegetarian spicy hotpot and my partner ordered the fried pork ribs! The food took a little long but the portion is great for its price! I think the taste was pretty authentic as well! The food is not too heavily seasoned - definitely on the healthier side! What impressed me most is the long list of vegetarian items on the menu! Definitely recommend for veggie lovers out there!

β β β β β I come here quite often and the food is always really great or really bad. I usually order the same things.spicy rice cakes, seafood hotpot or the deep fried tofu. The food seems very inconsistent. About 2 different time I've ordered the hot pot it was missing something like one time the noodles and the other time both the shrimp and oyster. Sometimes the ricecakes would be under cooked or the tofu would be extremely soggy. The prices went up but I feel Like it's hard as a regular to really enjoy the menu when the quality is so inconsistent. I love sasayas when the food is made to proper spec but I've noticed to many times that the food is disappointing. Please keep the quality consistent as I really enjoy coming.

β β β β β A2. Korean style BBQ pork bento. The bowl was flavourful and good for a quick small meal. The pork and egg were well marinaded. I was very satisfied after the meal.
